Chapter 21; Prom (PART TWO)

Blake's POV

Mia and Nick walked over to the dance floor and as soon as they got over there the song "Fall for you" by Secondhand Serenade started to play. Mia wrapped her arms around his neck as he put his hands on her hips. I felt Kayleigh slapping my arm trying to talk to me but all I could focus on was them.

"Blake?!?" Kayleigh screamed.

"What?!" I rolled my eyes.

"I wanna dance!" She whined.

I looked over at them and Nick had his hands resting on her ass.

"Alright, lets go dance." I grabbed her and tugged her to the dance floor.

I stopped her about 7 feet from where they were dancing. Just enough to where I could watch them. Kayleigh wrapped her arms around my neck and I put my arms around her waist as I looked the two of them.

Nick slapped her butt a little and she jumped when he did it. A growl came out of my chest but I hid it with a cough.

"You seem tense babe. That won't be for long, the after party should be fun." She said as she nibbled my ear.

The song was about to end when I saw Nick smash his lips on Mia's.

"OH HELL NO. HE DID FUCKING NOT!!!" Xavier screamed through our personal link.

Before I even knew what I was doing my voice boomed out through the room,

"MINE!!!"

That's when he scent hit my nose. She smelt like apples and cinnamon. The smell was so intoxicating that I thought I was going to pass out. Kayleigh's face dropped as I sprinted over to them.

I tackled Nick to the ground and was now sitting on top of him.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING THINK OF TOUCHING HER! SHES MY MATE NOT YOURS!" I roared.

"Bro, calm down. MATT SOME HELP PLEASE." Nick pleaded as I held his throat.

My eyes were glowing I was on the verge of having a force shift. Xavier was going crazy.

"Blake calm down! Don't do anything to rash." Matt grabbed me trying to pull me off.

I stood up, towering over Matt as best as I could.

"I am your future Alpha. You will not tell me what to do." I demanded.

That's when I felt a hand placed on my arm. I felt my wolf calm immediately. I looked over to see a scared looking Mia. Her soothing eyes staring into mine.

"It's okay. I'm your mate. Yours only." She spoke softly.

That's when I heard Amelia, Reagan, Hailey, and Jamie start squealing in happiness.

"It worked!!!!" They all screamed.

"We have some things to talk about love. Lets go." She said calmly as she placed a kiss on my hand.

I started to walk out with her hand in mine when she let go. I looked back at her and a whine escaped my chest.

"Oh calm down. I'm helping Nick up." She rolled her eyes.

I growled as I pushed her gently away from him. I offered him a hand and he hesitated to grab it. After I helped him up, I picked up Mia and walked towards the exit.

Mia's POV

Amelia, Hailey, Jamie, Reagan, Matt, Nick, Blake, and I were all sitting in a circle on the grass outside in the pale moonlight. Well, I was sitting on Blake's lap cause he wouldn't let me sit by myself. Or near Nick for that matter.
