Silent Howl

Chapter 28; Part Four

I took a deep breath and started to picture myself in my wolf form. My red hair, purple eyes, small statute. I heard the snaps and cracks of my bones shifting in place. The burning sensation running through my body. Before I knew it, I was in my wolf form and I felt more energy then what I had. Everything was sensitive and more enlightened. I could hear the battle all the way up the stairs through the house and outside. I could smell all the blood mixtures of everyone bleeding. I started to focus on what Toby's sister looks like. I got a location and I started running down the hall.

I heard the little cries of children and I noticed that I'm in a wing that has a bunch of children in each cells. I let out a comforting whine to let them know I'm not going to hurt them. I opened the cells one by one and each kid came out hugging me. I yepped at them so they would follow. Then I saw Toby's sister crying. She's in a... wheelchair? I nudged her trying to tell her to get on my back. She nodded her head and climbed on. She wrapped her arms around my neck and all the kids shifted in their forms.

We all started running down the hallway and up the stairs. The sight was horrendous. I growled and my pack members move out of the way while all the kids followed me. I ran over to Luna Mary and barked at her so she would watch them all. She was surprised to see how small I was. She grabbed Toby's sister off of my back and I took off to find Blake.

Just then a wolf took me down. Marianna. She growled and showed her teeth. She knew who I was. It took all I had but I kicked her off of me. I stood up and compared to her I was half her size. Her wolf is blonde with brown ends. She has black eyes with a hint of grey. She stood up and we started walking in a circle growling at each other. She went to jump at me but was stopped mid air.

"Dumb flea bag. Why don't you go pick on an adult wolf." Jamie shook her head.

I looked into her eyes and she looked confused.

"MIA?!" She yelled.

I nodded my head. I turned to look to see where Marianna went, but she took off. Then I heard a loud yelp. I looked over to see Reagan getting jumped by three wolves. I took off as fast as I could and jumped on the biggest one, grabbing his ear. He started growling and jumping trying to get me. Reagan took down the two small ones and I let out a bark for her to come help. I bit the back of his head and ripped his head back as Reagan clenched down on his throat. He dropped like a pile of rocks. Reagan walked up to me and wrapped her head around mine to hug me.

"It's good to see that you're okay." Reagan said through the link.

"You kidding me? You cant get rid of me." I flashed her a wolfly smile.

"Blake's out looking for Jackson." Reagan told me before taking off over to Matt to help him.

I started running through the battling wolves without them seeing me because I'm so small. As I was turning the corner Jackson jumped on me pinning me to the ground. I was struggling to get out of his hold but he was too strong. So I did the only thing I could do. I howled a cry for help. This time, it wasn't my high pitched howl. I have two howls? Not even a minute later I heard through the mindlink,

"I got you now you bastard!" Blake roared.

Next thing I see is Blake's ginormous pitch black wolf take Jackson's smallish Grey wolf. Jackson got out from under Blake and ran to the back of him and clamped down on his leg until I heard a snap. I let out a whine from feeling his pain but it didn't faze him.

"Mia, get out of here. Go find my mother." He demanded.

"Never love. We're in this together." I said back as I leaped on Jackson's back.
