I mean I don't really like Grindlewald, but I think this ship is pretty cute.
I would probably like it more if Rowling gave us a little more backstory on Dumbledore and Grindlewald's relationship.
I think their friends to lovers to enemies relationship is interesting and very attention grabbing.
It might not work though, as Grindlewald is kind of evil. Just a tiny problem.
Pros:
1. Dumbledore is the only canonly gay HP character. (There should've been more)
2. They were best friends, and becoming lovers only would've made their bond stronger
Cons:
1. Grindlewald was............. evil while Dumbledore was anything but
2. Grindlewald killed Dumbledore's sister Ariana
3. Grindlewald tortured muggles. For fun.
4. Dumbledore may have been gay, but there is no author confirmation that Grindlewald was gay also
