Firstly, Jily is one of my OTP's so in my mind, this ship does not deserve to exist.
Second, I don't even think James and Regulus were friends. Sure, they probably knew each other, but that was probably because James and Sirius were friends. Regulus was in the year younger than James, but they also knew each other because they were both seekers.
Also, James only ever loved Lily. During school, Lily was the only girl he ever had his eye on. Despite being rude to her friend, James was always kind and considerate to Lily. Regulus also became a death eater after leaving school. Lily and James got married after leaving school. There was literally no way James ever had feeling for Regulus, or the other way 'round.
Pros:
1. Idk I guess it's better than Jeverus
Cons:
1. James loves Lily
2. Regulus died
3. James never really liked Death Eaters, and Regulus was one.
4. Jily is the best
