EVGENIA WAS NOT IMPULSIVE, matter of fact she tended to meticulously plan her every move and it drove the rest of her unit up the wall. it was very hard to convince genie to do something out of her usual routine, but after a few beers with some of her grisha peers; she finds herself spilling her heart on to a piece of paper, titled 'dear m'. m, was of course, marko. he was a squaller she'd grown up with, and earlier that very same day she had seen him messing about with some of the first army, stealing their jackets and what-not.
so, assuming the first amy jacket that resided on the seat beside her at the bar was his, she stuffed the note in to the pocket, downed her drink and went on her merry way.
wanting to make sure marko knew exactly who it was from, she had ended the note with 'love, evgenia, heart render of the second army' and she could vaguely remember making a joke about how he was the real owner of her heart.
the problem? well, as it turns out, genie had left her, very graphic and sometimes cliche but mostly embarrassing, love letter in the pocket of one malyen oretsev, tracker for the second army. not marko novikov, the squaller she had grown up with and fallen in love with.
UNLUCKY FOR HER, malyen oretsev was a curious boy, who had decided to make it his own mission to find evgenia, heart render of the second army, and ask her just what it was she had asked him to do to her in the aforementioned love letter.
