Ginny wasn't kidding when she said she would be there the entire time. The day that I got out, she was still there. She hasn't moved in two days!

I was released and she was sent home with me. She offered to drive me home to which I accepted, telling her that I'd see her at school. When she dropped me off at my house, I thought that was it. Boy, was I wrong.

She parked outside of my house, but I didn't move and neither did she. She stared at the wheel for a minute before looking at me. "So..." I said, hoping to break the unexpected tension. Her expression was unreadable, yet I continued. "Thanks for driving me home. I really appreciate it," I said. She nodded in silence. Figuring that there was nothing else to be said, I got out. She drove across the street and into her family's parking spot.

That's when I realized that if I don't do it now I might never. I RAN across the street and pulled her backwards, catching her by wrapping my arm around the small of her back. She looked very startled but relaxed when she found out it was me. "Marcus what are you...?" She was cut off. "I need to do something. Can I kiss you?" I asked. She looked confused, but then leaned in. She pressed her lips to mine and I leaned into it.

After a couple seconds, I backed her up so she was standing against the car door, with her hands still down at her sides. My hands were still on her back. I moved her hands to my neck, where she began to lightly squeeze. I felt a shiver run down me and I was so very happy.

I knew that it needed to end before it went too far, so I pulled away, my arm still around her waist. "Hey, I think we should stop before things go too far," I said. She nodded. "Yeah, that was um...interesting," she said. Not going to lie, that stung a bit. "Um yeah. Anyways, have a good night," I said. She smiled and walked inside. I got a text notification from Abby. That's when it started.
