                                                                                 The New House

We pulled into our new driveway and I looked at our tiny house. It looked more like an apartment. Mom parked the car and we all got out. I took Forest out too and we went inside the house. Mom checked out the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and her own room. But me and Amber went to the only other room there was.

"Mom!" I shrieked. Mom came to the small room, "We're supposed to share!!!!!" Mom nodded and I sighed. There were already two beds there and I chose mine next to the window. We all went back to the car and I brought Forest's crate in and next to my bed. This was a boring one story house! Next I brought in my boxes, suitcase, and duffle bag and backpack. I unpacked my suitcase, taking up half the closet. I put my shoes away and unpacked my duffle bag along with my backpack. I put my bedding on my bed and unpacked my boxes. After everything mom said to get back in the car and we drove to the riding school which was 10 minutes away. Mom parked and we led our two horses, one pony, and one foal, to their stalls. FreeRein was next to Harmony's/Faith's stall, and Beach was next to FreeRein. I put all their tack, except for Beach's, into the tack room. I put their grooming kits inside too along with my helmet. I made sure everything was neat and organized and went back to FreeRein. His head hung over the stall door and I stroked it. I pulled out a peppermint and held my hand flat with the mint on my flat hand. He moved his head to my hand and nuzzled it and took the mint. I stroked his face again and went to the car to get my book. Then went into the lounge and grabbed two apples and a bottle of water. I had the whole Horse Mad Series but hadn't read the 4th, 6th, and 7th. With my bottle of water, two apples, and my favorite book I went to the barn, where I sat down on a bale of hay right next to FreeRein's stall. I had taken my book from home with me. I gave FreeRein an apple and opened my bottle of water, I took a drink and bit into my apple. I opened my book and started reading the first chapter. I quickly finished my apple and water and put a bookmark in my book. I ended up reading five whole chapters. I grabbed my empty bottle of water and grabbed my book and got up. I threw my water bottle into a recycling can and put my book in the front seat of the car. I wanted to go home and ride FreeRein at the same time. I wouldn't have to worry about riding if we were still at home! I still couldn't believe mom made us move! Especially to a tiny house with a barn 10 minutes away!! It was unbearable! I felt like crying. It was so unfair. I looked around the barn and saw a girl teacher there. She noticed me and waved me over.

"Hey! How would you like to have a lesson?" She asked. I looked at her and nodded, "Great!" She said, "Go get a horse." I nodded again and walked over to FreeRein. I took him out, groomed him, and tacked him up. Then I led him into the riding ring.

"Good! Let's begin by warming up. After we warm up we will practice jumping!" She said. We jumped for a while and then cooled FreeRein out. I untacked him then groomed him. Mom called us to the car and we got in and drove home. We got home and got ready for bed. It had been a very busy day. I climbed into bed and fell asleep.
