FNF x Pico's School High School AU

Day 2

Pico woke up that morning and followed his usual morning routine.When he got to school, he met Boyfriend and Girlfriend at the front gate and walked to class with them. That day was normal. Their homeroom teacher was going over what she would be teaching and the expectations of her classroom, since everyone introduced themselves the day before.

It was the period before lunch, and before class started, Boyfriend and Girlfriend had to tell Pico something.

"Where do you guys wanna sit today?" He asked. "It's not like I had a problem with yesterday's spot, but it was pretty crowded." Girlfriend gave him a sympathetic smile.

"Actually, Pico... Me and Boyfriend were thinking of having lunch alone today. See, we found this really romantic spot on our way home yesterday, and we decided to eat there." She explained. Boyfriend grabbed her hand.

"We'll definitely eat with you tomorrow, but today, we wanted to try that spot out." Before Pico could say anything, Boyfriend ran off with Girlfriend, saying, "Thanks for understanding! Bye!" Pico gave an annoyed grunt.

"I think I'll go somewhere no one else is." He said. Pico walked near the back of the school, lied on a bench and closed his eyes. After fifteen minutes of silence, he heard footsteps approaching, but then it was silent again. Unbothered, he went back to relaxing. Suddenly, the silence was broken by a loud,

"BITCH YOU IGNORIN' MY CALLS?!"

Pico opened his eyes, startled. Before him were thing one and thing two, also known as his old friends, Darnell and Nene. He closed his eyes again.

"I knew I recognized that yell." He sighed. Darnell shoved him off the bench and watched as he rolled over and fell.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" He exclaimed.

"I thought you'd be happier to see us." Darnell said, innocently, as if he hadn't physically assaulted someone seconds ago. Pico staggered to his feet and massaged his lower back.

"I was until I remembered how much trouble you two were." He said. Nene smiled sweetly at that comment.

"Your fault for forgetting!" She said, sticking her tongue out at him. "Say, have you made any new friends while we weren't around you?" She asked.

"Actually, yes. But, they're assholes just like you guys." Pico said, sitting back down. Nene and Darnell sat down beside him.

"How come?" Nene asked.

"They're a couple. I don't think they mean to leave me out sometimes, but God, they never stop flirting with each other." Explained Pico.

"Harsh." said Darnell, "Wait, why are WE assholes?" He asked, sounding offended. Pico gave him a "bruh" look.

"Did you not just throw me off this bench?" He asked sarcastically. Darnell scratched the back of his neck and nervously laughed.

"We're violent towards you because we love you." He said.

"Yeah!" Nene agreed while lightly punching Pico in the arm.

Pico sighed. "Honestly... What would I do without these morons?" He thought. Pico stood up and stretched. Then, he looked at his watch. "Lunch is almost over. Who do you guys have for fourth period?" He asked.

"Mrs. Dearest." Nene said.

"I have her, too. Are you guys in my homeroom class?" asked Pico.

"Is your homeroom teacher Ms. Hatsune?" Darnell asked. Pico nodded. "Then, yes." Darnell answered.

"Great. If that's the case, I should introduce you to Boyfriend and Girlfriend." Pico said.

"You date two people?" Darnell asked. "In all my years of knowing you, I had no idea you were such a Chad." He said with his hand on his chin.

Pico could understand the confusion. "No, I--" "I can't believe you, Pico!" Exclaimed Nene. "I WANT THE ADDYS OF THESE HOMEWRECKERS, NOW!!"

"Just... Come with me." He said.
