FNF x Pico's School High School AU

Day 6

"Welcome back everyone! I hope you had a nice weekend." Greeted Ms. Hatsune. "You guys are already two weeks in, so I think it's time we discussed clubs. If you're interested in joining one, have this form filled out by the end of class. I'll give you a few minutes to decide." Ms. Hatsune sat down and started grading papers.

Girlfriend, who sat next to Nene asked her, "Are you signing up for one?"

"No. I don't think school clubs are for me---"

"Astronomy club seems pretty cool." she heard Pico say.

"Yeah, I'm signing up for the astronomy club." Nene immediately changed her mind as soon as she heard what club Pico was interested in joining.

"Okaay... Well I think I could sign up for chorus!" Girlfriend said. "What about you, babe?" She asked Boyfriend. Boyfriend tapped his chin in thought.

"I don't think I want to join one..." He said. Girlfriend leaned in to tell him something.

"I heard the technology club pretends to be an actual club, when really, it's just a place to play video games." She whispered to him.

"Really? Bet!" Said Boyfriend. He went up to the front of the class to take a form. After class, everyone had made their decisions. Pico, Nene, and a number of other students signed up for astronomy, Girlfriend took chorus, Boyfriend decided to do technology, and Darnell wasn't interested in joining any clubs.

Before 2nd period, Nene and Darnell waited for Pico while he went buy something from the vending machine. Nene could feel the smug look that Darnell was giving her, but stared outside the window.

"You're down bad." He said.

"For who?" She asked.

"You know who I'm talking about. The guy you joined astronomy club for." He answered.

"I didn't join the astronomy club for anybody. I'm all about zodiac signs!" Nene lied.

"You're talking about astrology." Darnell corrected. "Last year you even told me it was BS and signs didn't mean shit after a guy rejected you for being a scorpio."

"Mm." Nene gave an annoyed grunt, knowing she had just been exposed.

"You also hated learning about space in science." Darnell said.

"MM!" Nene grunted louder and smacked the back of Darnell's head.

When the school day was over, Darnell went home while Pico, Nene, Boyfriend, and Girlfriend went to participate in their extracurricular activities. Pico had fun his first day, and Nene was happy even though she never cared about astronomy because she was around Pico. Girlfriend was right about technology club being an excuse to play video games in school, and Boyfriend was glad he took a risk. Girlfriend had fun being in a music related club, and it would be like that for the four of them the whole school year.
