A/N: Yeah, I got kind of tired of going day by day and I don't really like that my chapter names were numbered days. This fanfiction isn't a calendar, so from here on, they'll get better titles.

It was now November, and Pico finally felt comfortable at his new school. There was no drama over fruit, there were no shootings, and Cassandra had officially become a regular acquaintance of our trio instead of an enemy. More good news to share about this month was that Daddy Dearest finally trusted Boyfriend (it took him time... A LOT of time...) and stopped hiring people to destroy him. Boyfriend seeks challenges on his own nowadays. (Pretend this happened after Pico, the last person that Daddy Dearest hired.)

One day after school, the astronomy club supervisor had big news to share.

"Next week, we will have an overnight field trip in (enter out of town place here), which is where we will be going to (enter space exploration center here)." He got up and put empty permission slips on each student's desk. "Just have your parents sign this in under two weeks."

Pico picked up the permission slip.

"Overnight?" He repeated to himself. "That would be cool, I guess."

Nene decided she would go, too. Not because she heard Pico agree to it, (well, partially), but because she had never been on a field trip in school. Later that day, the two of them told Darnell about it.

"Really? Man, that makes me want to go." He said.

"We wish you could come too." Nene said. "If only this was a class field trip."

"Well, hey, with me gone, you two have the chance to sleep in the same tent." Darnell teased.

Nene's entire face became red, and she covered it with her hands. Pico's whole face flushed, so he started staring at the ground.

"Cut that out." He said. Pico knew by now that Darnell was simply joking around; he just loved the reactions out of these comments.

At Pico's house:

"Overnight, huh? Sounds fun." Boyfriend said, not taking his eyes off Pico's TV screen. He and Pico were playing MK11. "Your Mileena sucks." He said.

"What, like your Rambo is any better?" Pico retorted. "You may be winning, but you're literally sweating, and sweats are NOT good."

"Oh, whatever. Speaking of video games, the gaming club-- I mean, the technology club is doing something special, too." He said.

"What?" Pico asked.

"We're having a gaming tournament in the middle of town. Of course, the school doesn't know, but, it's happening in three days. That's before your field trip thing, so you and Nene can come and watch." He said.

"Sure. What's the reward for winning?" Pico asked.

"500 dollars." Boyfriend answered.

Three days later:

"It's the night of the tournament, folks!" Yelled the announcer. "Representing Week 6 Setting High, we have Boyfriend! Representing Pico's School High, (pretend that's the name of the rival school pls) we have Cyclops!" Girlfriend, Pico, Nene, and Darnell sat in the stands, hoping for their school's victory. Boyfriend and the pink haired teenager from the opposing team sat down and got to work. Their fight was projected on the big screen in front of the audience. Four rounds in, the scores were tied 2-2. Audiences from both schools sat in silence, nervousness and anxiousness. Boyfriend's expression was more serious, and he had begun to sweat. He could not predict Cyclops' moves, but he knew how to block. Cyclops was the kind of player to wait for the other person to strike first. Boyfriend stayed where he was, causing Cyclops to have to attack. Because of how nervous he was, all Boyfriend could do was continue to block. He blocked until it was time over for that round.

Girlfriend's knuckles went white from how hard she was clutching the bleachers.

"I hope he can pull it together..." She muttered. Pico noticed her nervousness, and then an idea hit him.

"HEY, BOYFRIEND!" He yelled from the crowd. Both Boyfriend and Cyclops looked at where Boyfriend's friend group was to see Pico standing up from his seat.

"YOUR RAMBO STILL SUCKS!" Pico yelled, finishing his sentence. This, of course irritated Boyfriend. It irritated him that Pico chose to provoke him while he was fighting for his school.

"An unexpected message from a bystander has caught our fighters off guard, but we will continue." Said the announcer. Boyfriend, still angry at Pico, continued the fight, eager to finish it so that he could give Pico a piece of his mind. Little did he know, his anger is what ended the fight with his victory. With one final blow, Week 6 Setting High School had won. The crowd erupted with applause, cheering, and celebratory screams while Boyfriend was handed his trophy. He was so angry he didn't know he beat Cyclops. Girlfriend, Pico, Nene, and Darnell ran off the bleachers to congratulate him. Girlfriend picked him up and swung him around.

"I knew you could do it!" She exclaimed. Boyfriend blushed and smiled. Pico scoffed.

"Please. If it hadn't been for my trash talking, you wouldn't have won." He said.

"Right! Thanks for that. I was gonna hit you as soon as I finished this thing; win or lose." He said, and then punched Pico on the arm.
