Trigger Warning: violence, blood

Zhenyuan still had a very confusing day when he returned home. But he was quite delighted with the fact that it wasn't him who attacked Yaxuan, so he had a total of two attacks rather than three, at least it was a lesser number.

He had returned in the evening, but it wasn't too dark. When asked what he had been doing, he simply told them that he was at the library with Yaxuan. It didn't make much sense to Mia, but she wasn't going to say anything.

He didn't seem to want to have supper either, but that wasn't unusual for Zhenyuan who seemed to have appetite problems ever since he showed up. However, being that it was a new place, Zhenyuan had to force himself to eat. He now understood why he didn't like human food - it wasn't because he had fallen, it was simply because he wasn't human.

He forced himself to finish every last bit on the plate, and Mia had known by now that he was simply forcing himself and didn't want to eat it. After he was done, he quickly left the dining room claiming he was sleepy.

He had gotten into bed very early, still overthinking everything. He hadn't told Yaxuan anything still, at least not anything he would believe. Yaxuan was just worked up on how their class mate was a vampire, not how Zhenyuan was a vampire. He didn't seem to believe at all. Whatever was going on, he still hadn't gotten complete answers.

Zhenyuan was asleep when he heard his door open slowly. He opened his eyes, and he was quite pleased yet displeased to see Mia had walked inside the room. He missed her, but he still wasn't sure if he was comfortable being around her. She was so innocent and he was someone who could hurt her.

'Are you finally okay?' Mia asked him as she sat down next to him.

He nodded. 'I didn't know you'd notice I was a bit bothered.'

'I did. What's going on?'

Zhenyuan simply shook his head to show he didn't want to talk about it. Mia respected his decision and decided not to ask any further, being pushy was simply not in her nature.

'Anyway, give me my tiara. I think I forgot it.' She changed the subject.

Zhenyuan nodded and took the "tiara" out of the bag, then handed it to Mia. She immediately put it on her head and smiled.

'Thanks. Goodnight Zhenyuan.' She walked towards the door.

'You're going to be fine sleeping on your own today right?'

She nodded cutely. 'Yeah.' After her reply, she walked out of the door and closed it. Zhenyuan turned off his lamp and started to sleep, it was the only way he was able to escape for his thoughts anyway.

...

In the dark night, Zhenyuan heard a tap on his window. He checked the alarm clock on his bedside table, it was 1 am. Zhenyuan closed his eyes again, thinking he hadn't heard correctly. But when he heard the tap on the window a second time, he turned to it. Surely, there was a person behind the window. He slept on the first floor of the house, but he never thought of risks such as these.

He squinted his eyes as he tried to identify the person outside. It was in the darkness, so he wasn't very sure who he was dealing with. Either way, he didn't know anyone who would want to meet him at this time.

'Zhenyuan,' Jungwon's familiar voice could clearly be heard behind the window.

'Jungwon?' Zhenyuan was confused as he sat up from his bed.

'Yeah it's me, open up.'

Zhenyuan was confused as to what Jungwon was doing there, but he got up from his bed anyway and walked to the window. Surely, it was Jungwon.

Zhenyuan slowly opened the window and looked at him. 'What are you doing here?'

Jungwon didn't say anything, all he did was give a smile. But with his smile, Zhenyuan noticed that Jungwon had grown fangs. He was too surprised to even say anything to his friend in front of him who had changed forms.

Before Zhenyuan could even catch his breath, Jungwon darted through the window and Zhenyuan fell on the wooden floor. Jungwon no longer looked like a regular schoolmate, he looked terrifying with his fangs and his aggression.

He sat over Zhenyuan and it was clear his intention was to bite him viciously. As Zhenyuan raised his arms and tried to push Jungwon off him, his belligerent opponent took a quick bite on his arm. Zhenyuan cried in pain as his skin started to tear off from the severe bite.

'Get off!' Zhenyuan used his leg to kick Jungwon off of him this time, and he fell backwards. Zhenyuan didn't know what was going on, but it confused him more than anything. He realized Jungwon was probably the vampire who had attacked Chengxin too, but he just didn't understand why.

As Zhenyuan got up and put his hand on his bleeding wound, Jungwon got up much faster and charged for him once more. This time, the two of them fell on Zhenyuan's bed with Jungwon on top of him. He was as vicious as a wild animal that had been taunted by an enemy.

'What is wrong with you!?' Zhenyuan tried to talk some sense in his friend who was shockingly a vampire. Zhenyuan knew he was a vampire too and could attack him similarly, but he was too shocked to taken aback to even bare his fangs at will.

Jungwon didn't reply, but attempted to take another bite at Zhenyuan. This time he aimed for his neck which still had a bite wound which hadn't healed yet. Zhenyuan threw a punch at Jungwon as hard as he could to keep him from giving him another painful bite.

Even though Jungwon was temporarily fazed, he quickly gained back his composure and continued to attack Zhenyuan with every bit of strength in him.

But before he could take his lethal bite, Jungwon was grabbed and tossed onto the wall. He collided with it with a large thud, probably causing disturbance in the house. In pain, he slid to the cold floor.

Zhenyuan immediately sat up to see who had pulled Jungwon off him and threw him that hard, it was Yaxuan. Zhenyuan looked at his friend Yaxuan in awe, noticing that he also had visible fangs. Unlike his usual timid self, Yaxuan looked like a fearless young man at this moment. His chest heaved in anger as he walked over to Jungwon.

Zhenyuan watched in disbelief when Jungwon leaped up from his position on the floor and collided with Yaxuan. The two of them started to fight viciously, rolling on the floor in their heated fight. They were both very fast, but Zhenyuan could see dark blood spluttering on the floor and wall, they had probably bit each other.

Zhenyuan didn't know who to help, he didn't even know if any of them were good. All he knew was that his two friends from school were vampires, and it was more shocking than anything.

The two continued to fight and broke the furniture in Zhenyuan's room in the process, while he still watched the dangerous fight in progress without knowing what to do next.

'Zhenyuan! What's going on there!?' Mia's uncle's voice was heard as he walked down the stairs.

'Let go!' Yaxuan grunted as he kicked Jungwon away.

Jungwon fell backwards before quickly getting up, covered in blood which he wasn't sure was his or Yaxuan's. Still, he managed to smirk, 'you've had enough?'

'We can't let humans see our faces!' Yaxuan replied and jumped out of the window, leaving Zhenyuan without any explanation. Jungwon didn't bate an eye in Zhenyuan's directions either, but he also instead jumped out of the window.

Mia's uncle finally made it to the door and opened it. He turned on the light on the wall, and he looked at the scene with a shocked expression. He was met by the sight of broken bedroom furniture and blood on the floor and on the walls.

'What happened in here!?' the large man asked.

Zhenyuan felt overwhelmed for a moment that he couldn't speak. He finally understood how people felt when they had come face to face with a vampire. Zhenyuan was a vampire, but he was still overwhelmed by what had taken place in front of him.

'Zhenyuan!' the man repeated. 'What happened in here!?'

'Vampires.' he finally responded.
