Added Scenes - continuing the story

The Proposal- Final Part

    Friday morning was here and it seemed that even the sun had risen with anticipation. Tong Nian woke up quickly,  giddy with the idea of seeing her GunGod. What she didn't expect was the present at her bedroom door. It was simple. Black box with pink bow. No note. Tong Nian bent down to open it. In the box was a beautiful but simple date dress. A pale pink and white that fit her like a glove. It must be from Han Shangyan. But why would he leave her a dress? It's not very like him to even go shopping.
  Not one to lick a gift horse in the mouth she immediately showered and got changed. After fixing her hair and a slight spritz of perfume she was ready for whatever may come.
   She came downstairs to see her parents sitting drinking tea. As she sat down with them she noticed an extra cup already half empty.
"Who's is that?" She asked. Her father looked at her with misty eyes. For what reason she had no idea. Her mother just smiled. Why on earth was everyone acting weird? No sooner than the though went through her head Han Shangyan himself walked through the door. Black jeans and a white top. A black jacket hung over his arm. She smiled happily as he walked in and immediately bound over to him.
"Are you okay?" She looked him over. After not seeing him for a week she always forgets how incredibly handsome he is.
  "Of course" he answered gruffly. Not making eye contact. His nerves were still buzzing from the morning's conversation with her parents.
He finally looked up to meet her eyes. "Ready?"
It almost seemed as if he was asking her something else.
"Ready" after saying respectful goodbye to Tong Nian's parents. The couple then left the house walking in silence, Han Shangyan had to shorten his longer steps to allow Little Squid to catch up to him. As the couple arrow bed the keep Han Shangyan open the door letting Tong Nian hop in first. After she was safely secure he then got in. Once settled he turned to her.
"You look beautiful. I didn't want to say it in there."
  "Why were you here so early? You didn't even
text me"
  "I..have a plan. A date"
  "A date?" Tong Nian was confused. Why so much effort for a simple date.  But then again. Why would she argue. Any time spent with him made her happy. Even if he was acting weird.
  "Let's go"with that he turned on his Jeep and headed out of the housing area. The drive was slow in silence. Han Shangyan put on the radio.       
   ".Nameless Generation" which also doubled as one of the themes songs for CTF competition flowed through the speakers. The couple laughed breaking the silence. Han Shangyan in one of his rare moments even sang along to the radio. Tong Nian thought back to their visit to the water town where he played guitar and sang for her. The warm feeling of love spread though her body to her fingers. This caused her to reach out and softly place her hand on top of his. Watching him as he drove she thought "don't worry. I'm my eyes your not nameless. Your not weak. You are so strong. And I will always accompany you"
 
    While the couple were taking their date drive, all of K&K,  along AppleDog and Yaya (Tong Nians best friend at school and Little Mi's girlfriend) we're busy work preparing the surprise and it doesn't seem like things are going well. The headquarters was half decorated. The food not delivered. And worst of all Little Mi lost the ring.
  The ring had been sent by Han Shangyan's stepmother. It's is beautiful and classic. An antique from his family. The whole crew was searching for it. Little Mi was planning his funeral. He knew no way Han Shangyan would let him survive if he didn't find the ring.  Yaya was in a panic trying to finish decorating amongst the chaos. And AppleDog was fighting with the food delivery on the phone.
   Solo who just arrived with daughter AI following behind him, carrying several iced americanos, saw the chaos and immediately took charge. There was no way Old Hans proposal would go up in flames before it even began. For as long as he's known him no one, absolutely no one could make Old Han as happy as Tong Nian. His brother and very best friend had found love. Not only love but a trust trust and happiness in his girlfriend. He needed to make sure everything was set in place so happiness could be achieved.
"Hey!" His loud leader voice boomed throughout the room causing everyone, even Appledog to freeze. The phone still talking as the delivery man argued.     Solo rushed over to take the phone and immediately barked back in rapid fire mandarin. His no nonsense tone reminded them all of Han Shangyan. After getting the delivery driver to admit to his mistake and with the promise of extra side dishes the call was ended with an estimated arrival of about 20 mins.
    Little Ai and Yaya came together to help piece the decorations. The top of the headquarters was covered in black balloons and streamers. Most of the decorations were black. The runway was a shiny gray color. To most the dark dreary colors would be off putting for a proposal but it was all apart of the plan.
   Along with flowers the large screen in the back held what looked like a players profile for CTF. On it showed a picture of Han Shangyan and his stats. His stats on the board were not only of his scores. But also his own heart. Favorite food: candy. Social: not really. Flaws: hot headed and stubborn. Strengths: loving Tong Nian.
  The food came soon after. There were long tables on each side on the room leading to the screen. Strawberry cakes, cream puffs, candy. All of Tong Nians favorite foods. The final piece was the ring. But the ring was still not to be found. Solos phone went of as soon as the food was placed. It was from Gun "two minutes". Oh lord of CTF. Help us! "Everyone! To their places!"
 
   The couple pulled up to the K&K headquarters much to Little squids confusion. "Our date is here?" She asked. Gun Nodded. To nervous to speak. He was praying everything would be ready. He came around and took her by the hand. "Tong Nian? Close your eyes. I need you to trust me" Guns voice held steady despite his beating heart. For the first time in a bit he was scared. Scared it was about to be his biggest challenge yet. Scared how he will go on if she says no.
"Of course. I trust you" she closed her eyes immediately and have his hand a trust long squeeze. For what she didn't know. But something told her it would be best to face it head on.
   Han Shangyan lead her gently into the darkened common area. Each person was in position. Lined up in front of the tables leading the way to the screen and the now put together stage. He had her stay there and then slipped away. Tong Nian felt nervous.
"Han Shangyan?" She called. "Han Shangyan?!" Her eyes were still closed obediently. He called out to her from what seemed far in front of her. "Not yet!"
She shifted nervously. What in the world was going on. "Open your eyes" he called
  Tong Nian opened them slowly adjusting to the dark room. Then over the sound of a microphone she heard his voice.
"Tong Nian. Before you came to me my life was like this. Dark. Terrifying. I felt like there was no one who could understand me. No one who could share my passion. No one I could love."
Her breath caught in her voice as her mind started to real. ..wait. Is this going where I think it's going. She stared ahead into the darkness. Hung on his every word.
"Do you know how much you changed my life. How you opened my eyes. You made me see beauty. As if I was seeing the moon and stars for the first time." As he said the last sentence the hidden twinkling lights began to shine. Showing the room in soft light creating the atmosphere of being under the stars. The gray floor lit up on each side lighting the pathway. Everyone involved in putting this together loved the idea of bringing light and dark together . Just like she did for him. She slowly walked down the isle to him. His stats behind him on the screen. She giggled reading them. he held bouquet of red roses. He was dressed handsomely in a black suit with a white tie. The members of K&K along with their friends held small tea candles. Trying not to cry as they watched Nian Nian walk toward Old Han. Tears were in her eyes threading to spill over but she wouldn't let them.
   Part of Nian Nian wanted to rush to him but was scare that it was to good to be true. What if this isn't a proposal? What felt like both and eternity and a second she was in front of him.
" Han Shangyan.." she said her voice wavering.
He cut her off  "I know that this seems crazy. We haven't even known each other for a year. I'm older. I'm stubborn and I hold a grudge. I don't know romance. I had to enlist everyone's else help Beacuse I was stuck. But I promise you. I'll spend every day learning. I'll love you and praise you. Your beautiful. Your a genius. You are my support and my heart. I would give up everything, my tittles, my company, even my team if it would make you smile. You are mine and I want to be yours. If not you. No one else would do. Please Tong Nian.." he looked to Little Mi who shook his head. Indicating that he didn't have it. Han Shangyan shot him a look and reached into his suit. He got down on one knee his tall frame causing him to get down to almost shoulder height.
     He opened the case to reveal the ring his stepmother gave him. He knew that he couldn't leave everything to his friends. Somethings were better handled by himself. So he gave Little Mi a backup ring  on the off chance that he lost it. His voice was steady as he asked.
"Tong Nian. Little squid. Will you marry me?"
Her brain was frozen. Tears threading to spill. Is this a dream? If it was. She never wanted to wake up.
"Yes. Yes Han Shangyan I will marry you!"
A loud whoop burst from his chest. One he hadn't made since his first championship ten years ago. She said yes! He felt like he just won the world. And I'm his mind he just did. Han Shangyan burst up from one knee taking her hand, with the cheers of their friends and teammates in the background he slipped the ring onto her finger. The couple embraced. Tong Nians tears finally fell. No wonder he was so aloof this week. Han Shangyan could have run around world. He then in a act all buy himself took his now fiancé into his arms and dipped her. An amazing kiss followed causing their crowd to be even more happy for them.
"I thought you didn't know romance" she said after catching her breathe.
"I don't" he gave her a full smile then as glasses of champagne were handed to the couple. Now it was time to party.
After several toasts Tong Nian turned to her fiancé. 
"How did you manage to pull all of this off?"
"I had some buddies help"
"Your amazing Han Shangyan"
"Your my world Tong Nian"

*hey guys what did you think? Personally I would have loved to see more of a dramatic proposal in the show but I still think it was great"
