Added Scenes - continuing the story

Its Time- Final

It was as if she was time traveling. Tong Nian blinked once and she was in the back seat of Wu Bai's car. On the second blink she was being carried by both One and Demo into the entrance of the hospital. The third blink had her settled in her wheel chair. She was being pushed by a nurse to the delivery room.

"My Husband! Where is Han Shangyan?!" There was so much activity going on around her. And the pain of the twins working their way out of her body did not make it any better. Demo, brave ,small and hurting Demo had not let go of her hand. In his mind not only was this Bosses wife but also one of his best friends. He was going to be here until Boss could take over.

"He's going to be here soon. Appledog is bringing him" Demo did his best to reassure the poor woman in labor but words only did so much. He was completely unprepared for this moment. This wasn't in his night plans. Where the hell was Boss!

The nurses got Tong Nian settled in the delivery room. Once they gave her her check up and informed her that she was still an hour out form pushing the atmosphere settled. But only slightly. Tong Nian was tense. Her body was focused on labor and her mind was overwhelmed.

As Demo was trying to give her ice chips. They heard a panicked deep voice call out " where's my wife?! Tong Nian?!" There was a crashing sound that sounds like a rolling tray. The team immediately perked up. From the sounds of the hallway there was a nurses chasing the Big Boss.

"Sir you can't go back there unless your checked in!" Her voice was high and a bit shrill. Wu Bai got up calmly from the chair and stepped to his panicking cousin. "About time you showed up. In case you didn't realize it. Your wife is in labor and almost destroyed Demos hand." Han Shangyan looked at him clapped him in the back and said no more. Now was not the time for thank yous. He needed to be by his wife's side.

He turned with purpose to the hospital room where he saw his wife. Immediately relief washed over the two. The static of love and protection was almost viable. Two opposites. Two people. The couple who no one would have thought could have gotten together let anyone got married. We're about to become parents. And at last they were together to accompany each other on this next journey. He walked quickly unable to contain his excitement at seeing his wife. Demo for once picking up on social ques moved immediately from his Sister-in-Law side and moved out of the way for her husband. No one else matter on the room. It was the two of them. And soon to be 4. With a groan of pain the moment ended. Tong Nian held on to her husband as it passed. The spell has broken and the babies where on their way.

The team left the room to take their place in the waiting room. Appledog walked in shortly after they got settled with snacks and coffee. She sat next to Wu Bai. Slightly praising him with a pat in the head. "You did well" she whispered. His face betrayed it's normal uninterest. He gave her a slight smile.

Meanwhile in the delivery room the couple talked and reassured each other as the contractions drew closer together. They were discussing what had happened with Solo when the doctor came in for the check. The woman in charge checked Nian Nians cervix. "Almost time" she reported. "Not bad for a few weeks early. If you keep up. Your children will be more within the end of the hour"

Tong Nian was greatfull. She was exhausted. While she had never been one for backing down from a challenge. This was one that had her beat. Not even her ph.d was as difficult as being in labor. While she finally had her husband. She knew that this next part was going to come form her. It was her job to bring them into the world. Through there fear she imagined a beautiful baby boy. With dark eyes like his father and a small nose like his mother. Her next thought was of a beautiful baby girl. With her fathers hair and her mother's brains. It was going to be okay.

As the doctor came back in setting up the couple to push memories floated around the couple like a cloud. Their relationship played like a movie in front of their eyes. When they're eyes first met in the Internet cafe...their first hug..their first kiss.
"You can do it Tong Nian! Push!" Han Shangyan's voice felt far away as she pushed. The event was overwhelming. Both the memories and being in labor.  Han Shangyan stood at her side focused on nothing but supporting his reason for living.
"Your so close..You can do it Nian Nian" their wedding when she kissed him after being pronounced husband and wife. Han Shangyan winning the championship...announcing the pregnancy. All this time there was something that hadn't changed and that was her love for him. And his gradual now all consuming love for him.
She felt so exhausted, comepletley drained.
"I can't do this" she cried seeking refuge. "You can do it. I promise you. Our children are so close to being with us. Just a few more pushes" Han Shangyan bent forward to give his tired wife a kiss. "You can do this little squid"

New determination held in the tired young woman's eyes. So close so soon. She can do this. Nothing besides cooking and CTF has beaten her yet. No a few minutes later a shrill cry entered the room. Healthy lungs and a not happy baby was held up to the couple. Dark black hair like his father, a small nose like his mother. The first of the twins was a boy. A strong healthy son. The newest hair to the Han family.  His sister followed shortly after to the discomfort of her mother. Less hair than her brother she was smaller more petites. But her eyes shined as bright and were the exact shade of her mother's. She was beautiful, not just in the couple's opinion but also the doctors.
Tong Nian was exhausted. She fell asleep as the nurses took the children. Han Shangyan hadn't spoken. He was full of so many emotions. Fear, worry but the most important emotion he had was happiness. He was so proud of his wife. Of his little squid. Of the beautiful twins they had created togther. He rubbed the hair of his wife as she slept.
"Your amazing Little Squid. Thank you for loving me when I didn't even love myself"

Life was about ups and downs. It was about happiness and failures. Winning championships and reuniting old friends. Their life had changed so quickly. The couple who never expected to be tougether we're now parents. Their love had grown so strong it create to beautiful children. Children who will grow up with their mothers brainpower and their father's determination.  This was their time. And their children's too. It was a whole new journey. And not matter what. They would all be together.
