Chapter 1: next level?
      While most people would be worried about finishing their PhD, Tong Nian was not. Walking through her college campus with her signature cat eared headphones she softly  hummed the instrumentals of "way back home"
As of lately she had been diving into Korean pop music as apposed to her usual Japanese anime covers.
       A gifted student with a amazing talent for computers her PhD was something that was expected of her. While she wasn't nervous she was definitely feeling the fatigue of graduate school. She felt as if she never had a day off. It's been a blur of thesis preparations, papers and lecture halls. It's been at least two weeks since she's seen her fiancé. The tall, dark, brooding King of CTF, Han Shangyan.
        To a normal outside their relation was one of complete confusion. Barley tall enough to ride roller coaster Tong Nian floated through life in a cloud of pastel hoodies and fresh coffee. A young genius who never failed to lend a hand or give unconditional love to her man.
      Her fiancé on the other hand was a known Ice king. Never giving notice to anyone but his team and his championships. Let alone a female. A man who had long given up the idea for love and was settled to work toward building the CTF profession. A sport that the near mention of its name sent fire through his veins.  But the ice king was soon melted by this pink fairy who not only taught the man to smile but to treat others like human being too.
    Everyone on Han Shangyans team, a professional league named K &K , agreed that life has become a lot easier since Tong Nian knocked down their Boss's figurative walls.
   Lost in thought Tong Nian barely registered her phone ringing. Looking down at the caller I'd her learn leaped at the name flashing on the screen. "HAN SHANGYAN" read in big bold letters. Clearing her throat she answered in a voice that she hoped wasn't as breathless as she felt.
  "Hey" she called into the phone her voice unable to contain her excitement. It was rare he called during school or training hours. He was very much a stickler for keeping focused.
"What are you doing?" He asked in his usual no nonsense tone.
"Walking the grounds. Everything alright" NainNain was unable to keep the worry from her voice"
"Does something have to be up for em to call you?" She could hear his joking tone in his voice. Always the prankster this one.
"No I didn't say that. I was just curious since it's training"
"We finished early. How about I pick you up? Do you have class?"
" no no I'm done for today!" NianNian rushed to get the words out. Scared he might change his mind
"See you in twenty" 
He hung up immediately with out a goodbye. Which was expected. He was not to the type to waste words. Tong Nian couldn't help but wonder, as she made her way to the front gate of the school. Why Shangyan wanted to meet her in the middle of the day.  She couldn't explain it but there was a nagging feeling in her stomach. Not one to be late she brushed off the thought and proceeded to increase her place. Impatient to reach her destination she pushed all nagging thought out of her mind and focused on the only thing that mattered truly in the moment. Seeing her fiancé!

*hey guys this is my first chapter. I love GoGo Squid. The show is one of my favorites and the soundtrack was really good. I read the books too if you get the chance I highly recommend it. Just trying my hand at a favorite. Thanks for reading
