                          The Announcement
Tong Nian crossed the stage at her graduation. And official Ph.D under her name her biggest goal had been achieved. She had been working so hard for this dream. Even working on her thesis on her wedding night 5 months back. Much to her new husbands hilarious, dismay. She shook the hands of her Professor and mentor. Mentally laughing at the memory of her wedding night
"Really? Your working?" Han Shangyan had finally showed to the honeymoon suit following a room card mishap. Consequences of a double wedding. "You we're taking to long" Tong Nian worked with diligence , determined not to lose her thought. "You'll see. It'll be worth it"
And worth it it was. She got her doctorate. Working hard since she was 15 and taking junior classes. She had accomplished a lot at a young age. Still in her early twenties, she was a accomplished singer, the pride of her university, happily married to the King of CTF and one more thing that was her secret. Well the secret of her and her husband. She was about to be 12 weeks pregnant.
Less than two months ago, after Han Shangyan and K&K took the championship. Tong Nian had taken Gun aside to announcement her pregnancy. The joy and almost romance-drama like kiss that followed had only sealed the couples joy. They had decided to keep it a secret till the first trimester is over. In consideration of it being Tong Nians first pregnancy. Tonight at her graduation celebration the couple would announce it together.
Speaking of her husband. He was there with the team from K&K Demo and 97 held up a sign saying "congratulations sister-in-law." Grunt was live streaming it for his blog, being sure to tag both his boss and his wife. How else would he get followers?
Han Shangyan held a bouquet of flowers and a smile only for her. One held a large box of sweets and a gift from the team. Tong Nians parent we're crying. It was truly and amazing day.

At the celebration everyone noticed something was off with Tong Nian. She wasn't drinking like the rest of the group and seemed to be sitting a lot. Han Shangyan who had always watched her close was even more protective. And surprisingly more touchy. He couldn't go a minute without checking her temperature or pulse. The other hand stood firmly at her waist. He made sure she constantly had food or water at her side. Little Mi and Solo, hand Shangyan's friends for over a decade decided to outright ask him if everything was okay.
After strong arming him away from his wife with the promise that Yaya, Little Mi's girlfriend would stay with her. Solo took a beer, opened it and handed it to Han Shangyan. "What did you do?" Solo was straight to the point. "What happened that you have to watch her like a hawk" he was worried for his friend. He had only been married a few months. They couldn't be having problems that early.
Han Shangyan smirked slightly. It was his best prank to keep everyone guessing. His lying tongue and mischievous nature had been what kept everyone at bay for the past few months. But he was glad the lying would end tonight. Solo looked serious. "She'll be fine." Han Shangyan said with mock seriousness. He handed the beer back to Little Mi and walked back over to his wife. She smiled brightly at his reappearance. He shook his head slightly and tilted his head to his still stunned friends.
" Should we put them out of their misery?" Asked Tong Nian with a smile.
"Sooner rather than later. I think Solo wants to hit me." The couple laughed much to the confusion of the group. What in the world was going on with these two?
Tong Nians mother was the only one who didn't look concerned. She noticed the minute Tong Nian stoped eating strawberries her normally favorite fruit. It was the same as when she was carrying Nian Nian. She couldn't stand them either. As she took a sip of her drink she gave another look over at the couple. Han Shangyan was never more then a foot away from his wife. It was possible he became even more protective of her. Tong Nian would subconsciously touch her lower stomach after every bite. As if to make sure the child growing inside of her was eating also. It was a beautiful sight.
As another toast was made and drinks were poured Han Shangyan stood up and raised his glass. The room immediately became quiet. He gestured to his beautiful wife.
"Today we celebrate Little Squid and her Graduation. My talented and intelligent wife. Your amazing. I really hope our child has your mind"
A short simple speech that left everyone confused. Child? Why would he put it like that.
"Looks like Boss had to much to drink" shouted One a fellow K&K member. The crowd laughed.
Tong Nian laughed. And so did Han Shangyan. The couple stood up together. "I hope so too" she placed her hand on her stomach. The idea finally popped into the minds of the crowd.
"No way!"
"Sister-in-law! Your..your.." the members of K&K were speechless. Solo and Little Mi looked the most shocked.
All At one the room erupted in congratulating. Questions about pregnancy ran through the air. Solo quickly found a bottle of champagne and open it above the couples head. "Your gonna be a father!"
Solo who was normally the leader and most responsible was acting like a child. As the only other parent of the group he often felt outcasted and misunderstood. Now not only would he be an uncle but he would be an uncle to his best friends child. What more could he want out of life?
Tong Nian smiled happy at her husband. But even though she was smiling she was terrified. The whole day felt like a blur and even though she wanted to celebrate she was now restricted Beacuse of her child.
"Boss is gonna be a dad?" She heard voices of the K&K members. "Hope he knows what he's getting into"
Tong Nian felt nauseous. Her nerves were reacting to the stress and excitement. Han Shangyan noticed the change immediately. He set her down in a chair, and quickly offered her water. She took small sips as he rubbed the back of he head soothingly. She needed to speak to him soon. But she didn't want to crush the excitement in his face. He was more excited than she was. Her feelings though we're not as bright. How was she going to approach the subject?
