The walk to the gate was both to fast and to slow. Tong Nian's heart was beating quickly as she scanned the front parking lot for her fiancé's tell tale black Jeep.  Her mind was racing as she finally spotted his tall handsome figure leaning casually against the side of the car.
She slowed down as they made eye content. Her eyes bright, and full of life meeting the dark steely eyes of her man. He wouldn't show it but the slight tick above his mouth expressed his happiness in seeing her.
Pastel meets Onix as the space closed between them. She didn't even realize she was holding her breath.
  Hey" she breathed
Hi.. let's go" He replied already getting in the car.    Tong Nian felt a slight sense of dread at his abrupt dismissal.  But quickly put it out of her mind.    Walking around the car quickly she got in the passenger seat. While putting down her bag Han Shangyan reached one of his king arms over to strap in her seatbelt. A rush of heat immediately colored her face.
A common gesture for him now since announcing their engagement officially, to not only their families but to the internet. Shortly after telling everyone at K&K, Demo the happy go lucky younger brother of the team quickly made a post tagging the couple without their knowledge.
Within two hours of the announcement the netizens went crazy. Fans of Little Squid the cover singer and Gaming Legend Gun God reached a surprising 50,000 likes and 30,000 comments holding everything from congratulations to shock to outrage. " Where did this match come from?" Everyone seemed to wonder. There was even a question of weather or not their accounts got hacked. Smiling to herself while lost in thought she didn't even realize Han Shangyan had been speaking to her.
"Ow!" She exclaimed rubbing her now red forehead. A slight bump forming between her eyes.
"What is going on in that head of yours?" he said "I was actually telling you something important" he replied in his gruff voice.
" i'm sorry I was just lost in thought I was remembering when we found the post that Demo had made two weeks back" she laughed
" oh yeah the one that made trouble for not only to K&K team but also your cover singing."
" not necessarily trouble to smoke trying to explain the fact that even though fan wise we have different circles  doesn't mean we wouldn't work. " she said a slight blush returning back to her cheeks.
" official or not people should stay out of my business."  He said gruffly. She handed him a pice of fruit candy silently waiting on him to breath. She forgot how annoyed he was at the post. He was a private person " anyway what I was trying to tell you before grandfather called your parents"
" what's so off about that?" She asked confused
" they're together right now at your house discussing our wedding date and ...Kids" He trailed off quietly
"Kids?" She stomach immediately felt wrong "why kids? She realized in all their time together they never discussed children. In their own way they already had kids. Him leading his troops of K&K and her at his side handing out coffee and advice to anyone who needed it.  Why must they talk about this now?! She wasn't ready.

Pov: Han Shangyan
He watched the blood drain from her small face. Her usually pale face got even paler. Her lips normally a bright pink looked deprived of color as he saw the gears turning in her head. This is what he wanted to avoid. He told his grandfather that kids weren't on the table as of yet. He just got her to agree to marrying him a few weeks ago. After a roller coaster of dating. The way she looked right now he might as well have said they were breaking up.
He knew this topic would scare her. In terms of his age he was ready to have kids. 30, employed, engaged. Next step was a wife and kids. But Tong Nian was only 20 and studying for her Ph.D. It took a lot for her to agree to marrying him. He couldn't  expect her to drop her dream in order to carry his child.
He thought back to the argument that started this whole conversation. Sitting downstairs at breakfast this morning he didn't think much of his grandfathers questions. Mainly about the wedding and planning. But when Shangyan gave vague and uninterested responses it only seemed to frustrate his grandfather. When the final question of kids came up Han Shangyan was taken over by his famous Temper got up and left the house saying "i won't be planning on having kids so you should give up now" he didn't really mean it but now he dragged not only himself down this hole but his sweet now terrified fiancé.
Still thinking of himself as not good at comforting girls he decided to take action. Unable to look at her scared face out of cowardice he made an immediate right toward one place he knew might help. The one store that sold her favorite strawberry ice cream. The two proceeded in silence. Tension and anxiety building with every traffic light. How was he gonna fix this one?

*hey friends thank you for my first upvotes. This book is mainly gonna be shorts and scenes I've thought of for the story. Anyone ever thought about how the conversation of kids might go between them? Got finals next week so I'll do my best to update.
