The Proposal- Part 1

   Han Shangyan was not one for romance. Frankly he found the concept of it annoying and confusing. But not this time.  After years of hardship the God of CTF has finally looked down and smiled. His blessing came in the form of his beautiful girlfriend. Freshly graduated with her masters Tong Nian was not only smart but she was beautiful and driven and everything that Han Shangyan didn't even know he needed in life.
  Said girlfriend was sitting across the table form him in her school's cafeteria. He came to accompany her on a rare day off. While she rattled on about a new system she built for a nearby hospital, Han Shangyan began to form a plan. This plan will make or break his whole life. He has decided Tong Nian will be his wife. Hell or high water.
  "Han Shangyan?" Tong Nian called to him. She noticed his far away daze and furrowed brows. Tong Nian thought she was boring him, meanwhile he was so deep in through he forget his blessing was right in front of him.
  "Yes?"
  "Are you okay? You look worried?" She looked him over with worried eyes. Thick hair, broad shoulders, and all black ensemble. Nothing out of the ordinary.
  "No need to worry. Just thinking about this next week at the club. I'm going to be really busy. But Friday I will see you again."
  "Friday? It's Monday. Are you going to be busy for the whole week?" Her voices slightly dejected.
  "Patience Little Squid" he said taking a napkin and wiping a stray piece of rice form her lips. "Don't worry to much. I'm yours. Sooner rather than later" he mumbled the last part very low so she couldn't hear.
   Confused but satisfied Tong Nian let the questions drop and the couple continued their lunch. Followed by a quick walk for digestion . Han Shangyan dropped Tong Nian at her mentors office and began to walk in double speed to his car. 5 days. He has 5 days to figure out what kind of romance will convince this amazing out of his league woman to be his. Legally.
  Pulling up to the K&K headquarters, he quickly parked his car in his normal no nonsense manner. He open the door quickly without a key (courtesy of Tong Nian and her facial recognition software) and immediately headed toward his team in the rec room. Since they had a rare day off the team was spending it leisurely. Some were playing video games while others like One and little Demo were playing ping pong. The relaxed atmosphere immediately disappeared with the arrival of the Boss. The team all looked at hone to the entrance as Han Shangyan walked into the room. He stopped in the middle and sat down on the single sofa.
  "Team meeting"
Those two words said almost inaudible sent everyone into immediate responses. Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing and mediate say around their leader. One the floor, chairs and even the ping pong table. Once everyone settled and looked at Boss then Han Shangyan spoke again
"We have a mission. In this week off I need all of your attention."
  DT (Wu Bai) the leader then spoke up. DT was Han Shangyan's cousin and one of his few relatives. DT has a general idea of where this was going.
" so you're finally going to ask her?" 
The team immediately exploded into happiness. Cheering and asking many questions at once
" how are you going to do it?" " did you get the ring?" " sister-in-law's actually gonna be your sister-in-law now" cheered little Demo
Han Shangyan immediately cut down all the excitement with one look.
  "Yes I want to ask Tong Nian to marry me. But I need help."
"Don't worry Boss" claimed K&K's resident love guru Grunt. He was the only one other than DT to have love experience.
Han Shangyan started to regret this whole conversation. He should've known he should've brought it up to DT instead the entire team. But what's done is done. For the first time and it's history  the team of K&K was not focused on winning a competition but rather the heart of Little Squid.

*Happy summer Wattapad readers! I appreciate you all and the encouragement on the first segment of this book. I wasn't too sure if I was going to continue but I think the world needs a little more GGS. This idea came up from my own life. You never know what your SO might have planned.
