chapter 1

February 10th, 2021

JADEN'S P.O.V.

I was currently in Australia in some woods, camping. Yeah, I know. It was more of being in woods to get a big amount of drugs delivered and then we'd go back to LA. But in any way, it's still camping, and it's crazy because the only person that could make me do it was Olivia.

Until she decided to leave me. Leave me heartbroken and confused. Blaming myself for it, this is fourth year.

I've never heard of her. I did overhear sometimes Josh, Bryce, Blake, Addison or Nessa talking about her, but they would change the topic when they see me. I still don't know what happened. What made her leave me. Where even is she now? I still don't know to this day.

Bryce left with few guys to find some wood for fire, so it was me, David and Robert left to make sure no one steals anything. But I don't even think anyone is here. I haven't really heard anyone except us.

I stood there when I saw Robert's and David's eyes snap somewhere behind me, and I was about to look, but I felt someone tap the back of my leg.

"Look what I found!"
Little boy said showing me some mushroom that he had in his hand. I squatted down, so I was on his level.

"You know it might be poisoning? Did you eat it?"
"No, my mommy teached me not to eat stuff I find."
"You're one smart boy. How old are you?"

I don't know why was I acting this way. I don't know, but there is something in the eyes of this boy that made me not ignore him.

"I turned 4 few months ago."
"And where is your mommy?"
"Josh! Come here right now! I told you you can't talk to strangers and run away any time you want! I'm so sorry he bothered."
I heard someone approaching us.

No damn way I heard this right.

I felt my guard tear apart as I felt my heart feel different way just because of that voice.

"Sorry mommy, I just wanted to show him the mushroom."
I saw Robert's eyes widen while I turned around.

There was she, holding the boy's hand while she checked he is okay.

She changed so much. Her hair was now gray. It's bleached. Her face features are coming now better to the fore than the last time I saw her. Her body hasn't changed much, she's just beautiful like she was the day I met her, or even the day she left me.

Her gaze met mine, while her eyes slowly widened and her mouth was opened a little.

I slowly stood up, looking between the little boy and her.

If he has turned 4 few months ago, and she left me in March of 2016... No way. No, there's no possible way. Right?

"O-Olivia?"
I stopped to make the lump in my throat go away and my voice sounds better.

"H-hi."
She stuttered, blinking few times.

My heart was beating 200 miles per hour. My blood pressure changed. My breathing changed too. I didn't know what to do.

I didn't even know what to say. I have so many things to ask her, and I don't know what should I do first. I can't just ask her how she is, when that's not my first question. Of course I care so much about her well being, but I have many things that are more important to me to get answers to.

"Um-"
"Let's go back to our camping place baby."
She picked up the boy from the ground and started rushing off.

I wanted to stop her so bad, but I was just froze in the place.
What the fuck did just happen?

Little boy looked at me with a smile and waved.
A little smile creeped on my face but I faded away soon.

"What's he doing?"
I heard Bryce ask behind me. while Dominic and George put the rest of sticks to the side.

I still didn't move. I just couldn't. I don't even know why.
"We just saw Olivia with the little boy that's supposed to be her son."
I heard something fall, making me snap out of everything and the world that I was in, and turn around.

Bryce was already picking everything up from the floor while cursing under his breath.

I stared at him blankly, I was still in shock from what just happened.

"Robert, what did just happen?"
"I know man, crazy right?"
"No, that was not Olivia. It can't be her. Was it her?"
"Yes dude."
"And who's Olivia?"

Dominic asked while sitting down on his chair.

"That's the girl Josh was guardian of for like 6 years I think. Bryce's best friend. And the only girl Jaden fell in love with. And then she left. No one knows the reason, except Bryce, Josh, Addison and Nessa."
Robert quickly explained everything to them.

"Bryce?"
He just hummed not daring to look up at me.

"Look at me dude!"
"Jaden I'm doing something, you can tell me what you have, I still can hear you."
I grabbed the collar of his shirt, making him look at me while he held my wrist tight.
"Tell me."
"What?"
"Bryce tell me! Don't act dumb!"
"What Jaden?!"
"Is that kid mine?!"
"How would I know?!"
"Bryce don't fucking lie to me, I'll kill you right now!"
"Jaden fuck off and let me set up the fire!"
He pushed me off, setting up the fire.
"You're a fucking pussy."

My body was now filled with anger. She can't just stand there in front of me with some kid that maybe could be my son, and then just rush away. I need my answers. I need to talk to her. I need her back.

I still haven't moved on one bit from her. That is the type of love that will never die. As we all could learn, I don't love nor really feel anything except anger and madness. But when I do, it will be forever.

Even though I turned everything down the day she left, seeing her in front of me now made my emotions come back. And I already hate it.

She can't just turn on my emotions and then leave me. That means I'm just going to feel pain again.

"Which way did she go?"
Robert and David shrugged their shoulders as an answer to my question.
"You can't just shrug your shoulders. You saw which way she went!"
"I don't know man! Just on this little road, how would I know where she is now!"
I stormed off, to find her.

This shit doesn't go this way.
She can't just walk in my life after for years with a little kid named Josh and simply leave. We have so many things to talk about. I need my answers. I fucking need them.

Just as I started accepting the fact that I'll never see her again and that I need to move on from her; she just walks in there to make memories and feelings come back. And then a second later - she's gone again.

I searched everywhere, tried to find her and her camping place, but I just couldn't. She was mo where to be found, again.

And here we go again, with me showing my emotions in front of other people.
