OLIVIA'S P.O.V.

I was currently on my laptop, searching up things about adoption. And, as expected, there is no way for us to apply for adoption. A top thing needed for adoption in Victoria is to be in marriage or 'strong de facto relationship' for two years at least. Which, Jaden and I obviously haven't.

So, I searched up foster care. I've never really known much about it, but just that you take care of kids, but they are technically not yours, and they pay you for that. So, turns out there is a six month lasting program to become a foster parent. Doesn't matter if you are married or not, have kids or not. Not even if you're rich, but to have a safe home. There are some sessions and interviews that we'd need to do. They'd also come to check our house 3-5 times and talk to us obviously. I haven't really went to deep into payments, because I'm not really interested in that, but more a child.

I came to realization that I won't let my insecurity win over me. I hope that Jaden actually wants this, so then we could try. I'll need to talk to him when he is back home.

"Mommy!"
"Hey baby, what's up?"
"Robert and I found a hedgehog! Come see with me!" He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the house with him.

Robert is one of our guards. He is also the guy that use to baby sit me back in LA when Josh wasn't home, so I felt more comfortable with also having my kid around him.

"Robert where is he?" Josh asked as he ran up to him.
"He is by the tree. But don't be too loud, you're gonna scare him." I chuckled as I followed Josh to the tree where he showed me a little hedgehog.

"Oo, he is so cute."
"Just don't pat him, you'll hurt your fingers."
"You're one smart boy, aren't you?"
"Yeah." He proudly smiled, as if I was planning on touching him.

"Is it a little cold baby? You should get a jacket over." I told Josh as I stood up.

"Can we save him to be my pet?"
"Sorry baby, but he needs to be out in nature."
"Oh, okay."
"C'mon, come inside so I can dress you up. We don't want you getting sick, do we?"
"Nope." He ran in front of me as I  walked to the house.

"Okay, there you go." I said as I zipped up his sweater and fixed his sleeves.

"Thank you mommy." He kissed my cheek and ran out of house again. I sat back on the chair as I continued to do my research.

I went to bathroom and quickly did my business before washing my hands and walking back to my chair.

"Foster care?" Two hands placed on the counter beside the laptop as his head placed on top of mine.

"You scared a living shit out of me." I gasped as I put my hand on my chest. My heart was racing abnormally fast as I turned around to look at him.

"What? You didn't hear when I arrived?"
"No, I was in bathroom."
"Oh," He chuckled as he kissed my lips, "Hi."
"Hi." I smiled as I kissed him back.

"So, what are you doing?" He asked as he pulled out the chair beside mine and sat on it, while looking at the screen.

"Oh, I've been doing a little research on adopting. We can't technically adopt, but being a foster parent is much easier."
"Why can't we adopt?"
"Well, you need to be in marriage for two years, or a 'strong de facto relationship'."
"Oh. And for fostering?"
"It doesn't matter. Doesn't matter if you're rich, have a partner, or a big house. It's just that house needs to be safe and child needs to have its own room with window and doors, which we obviously have."
"Okay. How long does that take?"
"Six months of training or whatever that is called. There are some sessions, and 3-5 home visits that include interviews."
"That's better."
"Yeah."

"Livvy?" He turned me so we were looking directly at each other, my legs between his, "We don't need to if you don't want it. This is our decision as a family, and if not all three of us want it we are not doing it. Alright?"
"I want it. I want another kid. I want another child with you."
"100% sure?"
"Never been so sure about something."

He grinned as he pulled me in a kiss. He held one of my cheeks as other one rested on mid of my thigh. I cupped his face as we both smiled through the kiss.

"We'll try that." I nodded my head as I kissed him again.

"Where is Josh now?"
"Outside. He was doing something with fishes."
"I'll call him inside, it's getting bit dark."
"I'll do it." He kissed my forehead and left the house.

Are we literally about to pick up dog in two days and then apply to foster care? Yes.

I started to make banana pancakes meanwhile Jaden and Josh got inside and went to bathroom to wash their hands.

"Mommy, what are you making?" Josh pulled my hand a little, catching my attention.

"Banana pancakes. Is that okay?"
"It's amazing. Thank you mommy!"
"Of course chicky." I kissed him before standing up.

Once I was done, I set up everything on the table meanwhile Jaden and Josh played on the floor.
