JADEN'S P.O.V.

I was laying next to Alyssa as she fell asleep, but I didn't want to leave just yet. I decided to stay there with her for some more time, so that's what I did.

I noticed how one of her legs started to move, and then soon her hands did, before her face scrunched up as she started moving her head.

Is she having a nightmare?

She started mumbling some stuff, but I couldn't understand what.

"Ally. Hey, Ally, hey, it's okay. It's just a nightmare." I tried to stop her body from shaking but she didn't react to anything.

"Ally. Ally." I slightly slapped her face, not enough to hurt her, but just to try to make her get out of the dream and wake up.

"Hey baby, it's okay. It's okay. You're safe." I mumbled as I brought her closer to my chest as she started to cry.

"Shh, shh. I'm here. It was just a nightmare, it's not real. Okay?"
"Pwease don't huwt me."
"I won't, ever. I promise you. You're safe here. Always will."

I laid there with her, rubbing her back and holding her tight. My poor baby.

After some time, she calmed down a little, but was still sniffling in my chest and whimpering.

I saw doors slightly opening, as Olivia peaked her head in.

She looked at me and then walked in further when she heard Alyssa's sniffles and whimpers.

"I'll stay with her here tonight." I whispered as she sat on the bed.

"She had a nightmare?" I nodded my head, making her sigh.

She bent down and kissed Alyssa's head and shoulder.

"I love you." Olivia whispered to her, making Alyssa lift up her head slightly.

"Owi?"
"Yeah, it's me baby. Don't worry. Go back to sleep." Alyssa snuggled back into my chest, now grabbing handful of my shirt in a way to pull me closer.

"Goodnight. You should get under covers too." Olivia kissed my head as she got up, before she left the room.

"Night." I whispered back before left the room, leaving the doors slightly opened.

"Did Owi weave?"
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"She probably went to sleep too. You should too. I'm keeping you safe sweetheart."
"Can we go to sweep with hew? Pwease?"
"Yeah, sure. C'mere." I got up and picked her up, resting her on my hip as I turned off her night lights and closed the doors of her room.

As we were walking around the hall Yola followed us, sniffling my leg.

"Hope you don't mind some company." I said as I walked to the my side of the bed.

"Of course I don't. C'mere baby." She took Alyssa from me and placed her on the bed between us as I climbed up on the bed.

I decided to take off my shirt so I just threw it on the ground before snuggling up behind Alyssa and hugging both her and Olivia.

After placing a small kiss on Alyssa's head and Olivia's lips, we all just remained silent as we drifted off.

I heard my alarm going off, so I quickly turned around to set it off so I don't wake up Olivia and Alyssa.

But it was then that I noticed that Alyssa isn't in our bed anymore.

I got up and left to the living room where I heard voices coming from the TV.

"Ally, baby, why are you awake this early?"
"I aways wake up eawy."
"Yeah, I know, but it's not even 6 now."
"I don't know, I wake up whiwe it's dawk outside."
"Really? Why?"
"I don't know. I just do."
"Oh, okay. Do you want me to pour you some juice, or are you maybe hungry?"
"No."
"You sure?"
"Yep."
"Okay, I'm gonna go to shower now then."
"Oky." I kissed her head, before leaving back to my room.

I stripped down and showered quickly before wrapping a towel around my waist and making my way to the closet. I got on my work clothes and made myself look presentable because I have a really important meeting today.

I've came to realization that I don't necessarily like being the boss. I liked my working place and what I was doing in LA. Now here, I have to think and take care about so many different stuff, it's just so annoying.

I walked out of the bathroom and went to make myself coffee. I didn't want to wake up Olivia today because I woke up quite a bit earlier than usual and I wanna let her sleep longer.

"What awe you doing Denny?" Alyssa walked up to me, her bare feet hitting the ground with each step, making me smile.

I just kinda love the way Alyssa and Josh walk up to me or actually just the way they walk. It's weird, but it's something I adore for no certain reason.

And also, she just gave me a new nickname.

"I'm making myself my morning coffee. I have a early meeting today."
"So you'we weaving?"
"Yeah. But just for few hours." I said as I picked her up and held her to my side.

"You want some juice now?" I asked as I opened the doors of the pantry.

She slowly pointed her finger to the apple juice, being very shy about it. I swear on my life I hate the person that made her feel this way. Like, who can make toddler be scared of fucking eating or drinking. Isn't that what your dad did to you? Maybe, but that's a different story. I probably deserved it. This pure little girl doesn't.

"There you go baby."
"Thank you."
"You wanna come with me to the couch outside while I drink my coffee and you drink your juice?"
"Mhm."
"I didn't ask you baby, are you hungry? I could make you something to eat. Whatever you want."
"I'm not."
"Okay."

We went out to the couch and sat there. Yola also came out with us, but left to the back yard, leaving us alone again.
