chapter 68

OLIVIA'S P.O.V.

"Come, come. Put it up here." I told Josh as he ran up to me so I picked him up.

We were hiding our clues and surprises around the front yard. We agreed that Josh and I hide in front, and Jaden and Alyssa will hide in the back yard.

Once we finished our part, we walked in the house, where we saw Alyssa and Jaden coming in through the glass doors.

It was just time for us to start getting ready, so that what we did. And once we were finally done getting ready, Jaden and I bursted out laughing. We both looked too funny. He was that yellow man from Curious George. And I was Wendy from Bob the Builder.

"You look hot dressedd up like that."
"And you look like a banana." I laughed at him, making him laugh too as he pulled me closer.

"I compliment you and you tell me I look like banana."
"I was at least being honest." I laughed, kissing him on the lips.

He placed his hand on the side of my neck, rubbing his thumb over my cheek as he pulled me back into a passionate kiss.

"Fuck, I love the feeling of your lips on mine so much."
"And I love you." I kissed him once more, before we heard Josh yell for us to come out.

We both chuckled as we walked out of our room.

"Wow momma! You're so pretty!" I giggled as I fixed his helmet.

"And dad, you literally look like the man from George."
"Do I?" Jaden smiled as he bent down to pick up Alyssa.

"Do we look like them?" He asked as he traced his finger down Alyssa's nose, making her giggle.

"You look exactly like them."

We took some photos, just for the memories before we got to go out of the house.

We set the timer, so we would see how long it took us to figure out every clue and find the final surprise. There was same amount of clues, it was just about who will find them faster.

"Run Josh, run!" Alyssa and Josh both were running to the table so they would stop the timer.

And since they were tapping the screen with their fingers, it was obvious we won't be able to realzie who was the one that stopped the timer.

"C'mon baby," I tried to reassure Alyssa, so she would have shower before bed, but she just kept moving away from me.

"I don't want to!" She moved to other side of the bathroom, her eyes filling with tears. Fucking great, Olivia.

"Ally baby what's wrong?" Jaden walked in the bathroom, slowly approaching her.

He crouched two feet away from her, making her walk over to him and stand between his legs.

"What's wrong baby? Why won't you let mommy help you have a shower?"
"I don't want her to." She cried as Jaden picked her up.

"Will you let me help you shower then?"  Alyssa nodded her head, making me sigh.

What did I do?

Jaden looked at me as I got up, mouthing a 'I'm sorry', making me nod and leave the bathroom.

This is so fucking hard to do. Especially that she bonded with Jaden and literally wouldn't let me touch her. Only when I make food, then she is there with me and won't talk to Jaden.

And I'm just trying so hard but I can't do shit about it all.

I walked to our room and closed myself in the bathroom and locked the doors.

I knew that as soon as Jaden sets Alyssa to her bed he's going come here and I just want to be alone.

I stripped down and got inside of the shower.

I let the hot water run down my body, making my muscles instantly relax. I sighed as I pulled my hair back from my face before sitting down on the floor.

I was already sitting there for some time until I heard the door handle move as someone tried to walk in.

I quickly tried to stop my sobs as I wiped away my tears.

"Livvy?!"
"Yeah?"
"Why are doors locked?! What are you doing?!"
"Showering." I wasn't as loud as him. Because I just didn't have energy to be loud. And I didn't want him to hear by my voice that I was crying.

"Why did you lock the doors?!"
"I'll be out in five minutes, just let me be."
"Okay." I heard him walk away making me sigh.

Guess I have to stop crying now.

I got up and quickly washed my body and hair before turning off the water and going out to get on my clothes.

"Baby come here." Jaden opened his arms for me as he sat against the headboard.

I slowly walked over to him as he pulled me on his chest. I don't wanna do this.

"C'mere." He whispered as he held me tight and ran his hand through my hair.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, kissing my head.
"You have nothing to be sorry about."
"I don't know why she bonded up with me and doesn't want you near her. I'm so sorry. I wish it wasn't that way."
"Jae, you don't need to be sorry. It's not your fault."
"Maybe, well not maybe, it is probably her past that doesn't let her do certain things with certain people. I don't know if we'll ever know what is it. But it's still so hard every day. It's hard for me, and I can't even imagine how hard it is to you when she doesn't let you come near her so often. I'll try to talk to her more to make her believe that you don't want to do anything bad to her. I tried already, and just as she starts getting better, back, closed up Alyssa kicks in."
"I know. I-I just wish she wouldn't be so harsh on me. I'm trying so hard but nothing seems to work on her." I broke down again, making him hold me tighter.

"Maybe when we move houses she changes?"
"I don't know, it would be so great if she does."

Fun fact is, that we yesterday we received a letter, telling us that something is wrong with the house and the way that it was build wasn't legalized, so they said it will need to be removed.

So Jaden and I were both at first pissed, because we did pay some guy to check all the papers for the house before we bought it, and then instead of paying so much money for getting it legalized, we just decided to buy a new one. Jaden had already found someone that will buy land from us for some different purposes, so the house will go down anyway.

Kids don't know about it yet, but Jaden and I already found a possible house not that far away from here.

It's a bigger house than this one, little less land, but it's really nice.

"Can we just go to sleep? Please?"
"But your hair is wet babe."
"Doesn't matter. I just really wanna sleep." I'm not tired at all. My thoughts could keep me up all night. But that the reason why I wanna sleep. To escape.

"I'll dry your hair for you and we'll go sleep, okay?"
"Okay."
