chapter 18

OLIVIA'S P.O.V.

"Can we take a nap again?"

I asked once we finished watching the episode of TV show.

"Yeah, of course. C'mere."

I laid my head on his chest, snuggling in his side.

He threw a blanket over us, before kissing my head.

The last thing I remember is that it was 1pm when we fell asleep, and now it's 4pm.

"Jaee, wake up."
"Hmm"
"Wake up, it's 4pm."
"Noohoo, c'mere."

He pulled me back on his chest, and held me tight, his head on top of mine.

"Jae, c'mon, don't just sleep. We can go out today alone, you are going home tomorrow."
"I know, don't remind me of that shit."
"You wanna go out for dinner?"
"Sure."
"C'mon then," I slapped his face few times slightly, "Get up."
"Uhh, okay. I'm up. I'm up."

We sat on the couch. I looked at him while he was trying to wake himself up.

"Jeez, why did I even fall asleep?"

He asked, more himself than me.

"I'm gonna make us quick coffee so we both can wake up a little."

He nodded his head, letting me get up from the couch.

I set our coffee cups on a table, while grabbing my phone. I just scrolled through social medias, before setting it down so I could drink my coffee.

Jaden still wasn't mentally here, so I took a photo of him.

I don't know, don't ask me why. But the more time we spend together the more I am letting him back in and showing him that I love him still.

He laid his head on my lap, one of his arms around my waist and other one on the middle of my thigh, right next to his head.

"C'mon Jaeee, wake up."
"Ughh, you're the one that made me sleep. Deal with consequences."

I slapped his head making him wince.

"Pretty girl, you don't need to be so violent."
"Shut up and wake the fuck up."
"Kid is out of apartment and you're already swearing."
"Oh shut up."

He got up and walked away in the bathroom.

After we finished our coffee, we got ready and went out to the city.

We had early dinner in some restaurant where Jaden insisted to pay everything, and then later walked around the town, talking.

"I'm kinda glad we had a day alone. Even though I miss Josh already."

He told me while we sat on the balcony of my apartment. Well, I sat, he was watching over the city.

"Yeah, me too."

I slowly got up, walking behind him and then wrapping my arms around his torso.

His hands placed over mine, before he turned around.

He moved my hair behind my ear as we stared at each other.

He started leaning down, so I leaned in too, smashing my lips on his.

This.

This is what feels right.

This is what I missed for years.

My hands moved, so one of them was on his chest and other one held the back of his neck.

His hands were on the sides of my neck with his thumbs on my cheeks.

Our lips moved in sync, before both of us ran out of breath; which made us pull away.

Not even a second later, our lips were pressed on each other again, his tongue rubbing over my lips, making me open my mouth.

I grabbed a handful of his shirt, pulling him back as I started walking backwards.

We got back inside of the apartment and he closed the doors without breaking the kiss.
He turned us around and  pressed me on the doors, holding my leg to his hip, allowing me to wrap both of them around his body.

He held me by my ass tightly, walking to my room.

He kicked the doors closed with his feet, before setting me down on the bed. It took him only a second to hover over me.

He started kissing and sucking down my neck.

"Jae, Jae"

I tried pulling his head back, earning his attention.

"You don't wan-"
"No hickeys, be careful. I don't need our kid seeing it."

He nodded his head, continuing to do his way down my neck.

My phone interrupted everything once again.

"Jesus Christ and the fucking phone."

Jaden mumbled under his breath.

"I need to check who's calling at 11."
"It's okay, go ahead."

I walked out of the room and found my phone on drawer in the hall.

"Hey."
"Hi mommy!"
"Oh, hey bubs, what's up? Why aren't you sleeping?"
"I wanted to tell you good night."
"Ooh. Okay."
"The ride was so fun!"
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah! I saw a bird! It was so pretty! But not more than you."
"Awww."
"Okay, good night mommy, I'll see you in the morning."
"Good night baby. Sleep tight. And listen to Cynth and Johnny, okay?"
"Okay. Tell daddy I said good night."
"I will."
"Buhbye mommy, I love you."
"I love you too. Bye."

Once I finally hung up I set my phone on silent and walked back in the room.

"It was Josh. He wanted to say good night."
"Mhmm."
"But let's make it a good night now, yeah?"

I straddled his hips, lowering myself as I moved my hair to the right side.

He smirked at me, gripping on my hips as I started kissing his neck.
