Chapter Seven ( Sooyoung's Suspicions )

Seulgi slowly closed the door as she walked outside the princess chambers. The princess was still sleeping. Should I bring her, her breakfast just like what Seungwan always does to me every morning?. Oh, maybe I should ask Jisoo what to do. But how would I find Jisoo?, The Asterian palace is quite large , and I am still not familiar with it. She said to herself.

As she was walking down the hall, She bumped into a lady reading a book causing the book that she was reading to fall on the floor. She picked up the book that fell on the floor, and apologize to the said lady" I'm so sorry, my lady, I didn't mean t--- " She was apologizing to the said lady, but she was cut off when suddenly a girl was running towards  their direction.

" Sooyoung Unnie!! " the running girl yells while getting closer and closer to them.

" Yah! I already told you to stop running while yelling Yerim, You're a Princess,  for Pete's sake, try to act like one, So please behave as a Princess should." Sooyoung said angrily to Yerim, Yerim was the youngest daughter of the king. That is why she always acted like a child even though she was just two years younger than her sister Sooyoung. " You know, if Joohyun unnie woke up because of your loud voice, she would definitely----" Yerim cut her off. " She would definitely what?? Sooyoung Unnine, we all know Joohyun Unnie will never be angry because she loves me a lot more than you." Yerim said while sticking out her tongue to Sooyoung. The two started to argue about who Joohyun loves the most when suddenly they heard a giggle. They looked at the girl who was giggling in front of them. " Uhm Unnie Who is she? I had never seen her before." Yerim asked her sister while starring at the girl in front of her." Your highnesses My name is Seulgi I'm from Asterin." She introduced herself to the princesses. " So, Seulgi, what are you doing here, especially in the palace's westway?I'm assuming you're a new servant, and new servants are not allowed in this part of the palace; it was strictly forbidden." Sooyoung said to Seulgi. Princess Joohyun's chamber is located in the west part of the palace, she always likes to watch the sun set on the balcony, Joohyun dislikes servants, especially new ones, walking around in this part of the palace, which is why the hallway was very quiet in this part of the palace, She has a keen sense of smell and hearing.
,Joohyun dislikes loud noises and prefers to be alone and not be disturbed, sitting on her chamber's balcony to read books or walking around the garden admiring the beautiful flowers and the wonderful scenery.

" I'm her highness Joohyun's new royal servant, Your highnesses." She explained " Hmmm, that explains everything." Yerim said Then she gazed at Sooyoung.

" Sooyoung Unnie are you going to Joohyun Unnie? " Yerim asked Sooyoung

" Yes, I just want to ask her something." She replied.

" What is it? " 

" It's none of your business, Yerim " She replied sarcastically.

" Ummh, Your highnesses, if you don't mind, could you tell me where I can find Lady Kim? " Seulgi asked the two " Sure, if you want, I can accompany you." Yerim joyfully said." It gives me great pleasure, your highness." she said to the younger girl, She looked at Sooyoung and excuse herself then the two left Sooyoung alone. Sooyoung got back to reading her book, she stopped and knocked at one of the doors in the hallway.

*knock knock*

Joohyun was lost in her thoughts when suddenly, a knock at the door of her chamber was heard that brings her back to reality, followed by the door opening revealing her sister Sooyoung.

"Good morning Unnie How was your sleep? " Joohyun looked at the girl. Sooyoung immediately rushed to her and sat on the bed beside Joohyun. "Omo, Unnie You look sick Are you okay? Your face was so red are you in heat?" Sooyoung held her face and put the back of her palm on Joohyun's forehead. " No, it's okay, I'm fine. It's just quite hot in here, so what brings you here? Do you need something?" Joohyun asked, shifting her position into a comfortable one. "I just want to see you before I go to Seren to see aunt Woo-ri. It has been years since I last saw her. I'll be back a day before the ball." Sooyoung exclaimed excitedly to Joohyun.
