CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

" why would Amanda work with them? And what does she mean by 'free'?" I said while we made our way to get to the computer unit within the passage way. We could talk as loud as we wanted as it was soundproof."Maybe she thought this was the only way to get away from this life with her girlfriend. They want what we did. We are the only ones who really got away from the agency in a safe way. They probably didn't think they could do it this easily because they wasn't related to  my father."my mother stated. She made sense. Maybe they believed that it was easy for my mother to leave the agency because the top man was her father. They could of thought he allowed it for whatever reason.
"At least  now Rosie will be reunited with Amanda." I said with a smile on my face before my father made a snarky remark," yeah through a jail cell and no contact." Him and mum laughed. I didn't find it funny. So I ignored it.

" alright, let's take these people down." My mother said while we walked closer to the door. However, the minute we opened the door we was greeted by a deep voice that sounded sinister ." Well, would you look  at this Mary" I was going to interpret that he was Jack. He looked amused. At that time I searched the room looking for jay and I found him. He was tied up with his hands behind his back and he looked at me with worry. I was looking at him the same way. He had a cut above him eyebrow and it seemed to bleeding heavily. " oh wow. Family reunion. I see your baby has grown up." The women said.Her voice was very high pitch. " I bet you don't like that." I said with a rude tone. I didn't mean to say anything like that but I couldn't help it, she threatened to kill me when my mother had became pregnant with me.
They looked scary but at the same time I wasn't scared of them. I knew I could take them down. With the help of my mother and father of course.
" what are you both doing back? I thought you guys ran away." Jack said with this look of hated in his eyes." We are here to stop you. I get why your doing this, but this isn't the way to go. You could of just left. It's what we did sure it was complicated and always having to listen to Mike go on about coming back. But it was safer and you wouldn't be in so much trouble." My father said. I saw a flash of sadness flash through Mary's eyes. " just let everyone go." I said but even though it was a scary situation everyone in the room had a look of calm on them but yet again these are people who have probably been in this situation a one point of their career.
Jay looked calm but the amount of blood that had stained his white top had made him look pale. I felt sick to my stomach. I was cut out of my thoughts of panic with a laugh and my stomach turned."Now why would I do that. Either way We will be punished for this meaning the freedom we tried to hard to gain will be for nothing."Mary said while Jack put a smug look on his face.
Without thinking I ran towards Mary. I punched her in the face and picked up one of the knifes I had in my pocket. Trying to hit her with it was difficult as she was fighting back. I had the perfect aim and brought the knife down but failed as she moved out of the way.
" shit" I whispered.
I was pulled off by Jack. " to easy." He said while pushing me into one of the walls. I winced from the impact.
But  I pulled out a taster I had. I nodded my head towards my mother and father. They had made a move onto them both.
Once Mary and Jack was distracted by the attack from my parents I snuck around to get to Jack. He seemed to be the strongest out of him and Mary, once I take him down the easier it will be to get Mary.
Getting my taser ready I made my way behind him. Taking a low deep breath I placed the taser to his back and  pressed it. He started to spasm and then fell to the floor and my father hit him so he passed out.
I made my way to Mary but I saw fear flash through her eyes. " wait! I'll stop okay. We just wanted to have a life together!" She said tears started to run down her face. 
" this wasn't the way to do it Mary! Look around you. Look at what the both of you have done to other people just for yourselves." I said with such hatred in my voice. I was panicking more about Jay now. He seemed to be out of it. I didn't want him to pass out so i knew this confrontation needed to end fast.
" you guys are done, over caught. Say hello to a jail cell Mary. You aren't going to have any freedom now." I said and pulled her towards my parents.
They both handcuffed both Mary and Jack to a table away from each other. While I immediately ran over to jay. " are you okay? Can you hear me Jay?" I said with concern laced in my tone. I had began to untie his hands using the knife I had brought. He immediately fell towards me and his head landed on my shoulder, I could feel his blood sweep into my clothes and it made me feel sick. But I pushed the feeling down and hugged him. " everything is going to be okay. I'm going to take you to the hospital alright." I said while looking at my dad.
He was busy like mother was with untying everyone else.
" I'll give you a ride while your parents sort this out." Rosie! I needed to tell her about Amanda and I will. But right now I needed to get Jay looked at.
He was more important at this moment in time.
" help me bring him to the car please Rosie." We both had took a hold of him over our shoulders while he slowly walked with the added support.
" why did you come back? I thought you was done with this" I heard Jay said.
I just laughed a sad laugh," I needed to make sure you was safe buddy. They are bad people." I said with a smile on my face. It was a sad smile.

I just knew I was happy I got there in time and he was still alive
