CHAPTER THIRTY - TWO

After we all got seated down on the old and creaky chairs, we nodded towards Mary. " tell us everything. You know. No matter what you'll be paying for your actions." I said, I looked back to Jack, something felt off with him. The look on his face shown he didn't care that we was finding out the whole story behind what they did but the reaction when Mary had given up and said she would open up said different. It just didn't make any sense to me.

" me and Jack were very close friends when we were in the training unit; before we became actual agents. He was someone I could turn to no matter what, he cared about me more then my family did. He shown me there was life outside this and how not everything I did had to be based on the agency. My parents had always made me focus on this and only this. It made me lack freedom. The reason we got along so well was because of how we both had to deal with controlling parents. Much like you did Lacey."
I glared at her, that comment had stuck with me a lot more then I would of thought off. I knew my problems with my parents had started to be resolved now. But it made sense.

" funny." I said sarcastically, " so you guys thought to get back at your parents was to do all this? Put millions of people in danger while making others turn to your side?" I stated reaching forward on my chair. Jack scoffed and made eye contact with me, I felt like he was reading into my mind and tearing apart everything I had built to make myself not be so sensitive. " oh like you didn't do the same. Running away from home with this boy to make something for yourself, prove your parents wrong."
I took a sharp intake of air, had I really done the same? Could I off ended up the same way these had? I heard a dark chuckle, looking up I saw jay make his way over to Jack near the cell.
" listen you dick, she didn't harm anyone. She actually is human and has more back bone then you ever will. So shut up trying to get in her head so you can try and get out of this. It ain't working buddy."
His voice was deep, like he was urging Jack to continue however Jack just looked away and sat down. Clearly Jay had just taken his Alpha like status away from him.

" says you mummy boy. Did you find out she works with us? She planned most of the newest plans. Why do you think she was out of the building when we broke in? She doesn't want to see your dad. She hates him." Amanda said, I grabbed her hand through the bars and pulled her towards making her face squish into the bars. " you can't be talking down to others when you can't even handle a relationship. Look at where your at girly, in a cell with your lover- oh I mean ex lover being behind your downfall. She hates  you now. So if I was you I would be quite and sit in that corner chocking on your pity tears."

Rosie laughed and I heard her mutter" you tell her !" It made me smile, I was worried that she wouldn't of liked how I talked to Amanda but now I know she wanted her to pay for what she did. Just like how I wanted.

" also your plan is stupid. You didn't need to do this to prove mummy and daddy wrong. How dumb are you both? You could of just gone on with this bullshit and having your own fun. If my parents could do it secretly I'm sure you could off. I mean the daughter of the top dog went behind his back and safety left. You both could of done it too with out harming others. You really lack a brain you dead looking cunts." My emotions had got the better of me however they all had flinched back from my tone. I knew I had gotten through to them.

I was done with this story and couldn't be bothered to listen to their bullshit." Let's go. We have all the information we need for now. I don't wanna lose anymore brain cells." With that we walked out.
