With slightly furrowed brows, you stole a glimps of the magenta eyed girl next to you. Her locks bounced ever so gently to the rhythm of her walk, her eyelashes fluttering over those large and curious eyes of hers every now and then. She deserved more, she deserved a good friend, you concluded.

You were willing to do anything to fill that spot in her heart. And in the process of that, you were ready to make sure Hanako would never hurt her like he had hurt you.

-------------------------------------------------

It had been a strange day, you noted. Well, Nene had been strange, to be specific.

You floated boredly by her at all times, an everpresent figure in her life whilst being completely unknown to the majority of the people around her. This granted you the ability to stare at her face all day if you wished to. You were still unsure if you were fortunate or unfortunate for that. Well, one thing was for sure: you had been awfully fortunate to not have to deal with Hanako for quite some time now.

Thus you offered the magenta eyed girl a puzzled look as she, for what felt like the umpteenth time today, once again stared ahead like she was lost in thought with creased eyebrows and cheeks tinted with pink.

"Nene-chan, what are you making faces for?" Aoi voiced your thoughts perfecty, having approached the girl from behind. You watched with a small pout as Nene proceeded to drag Aoi away for what you assumed would be "girl talk". You did understand that including a ghost such as yourself in a conversation would probably spook the blue haired girl but it still didn't fail to disappoint you.

~♥~

Nene had gone on and on about some guy she refused to give much detail about. So much so that even you had trouble understanding who she was referring to, even though you were with her constantly. Bored of such a vague conversation, you were having a hard time focusing on what the two girls were even saying anymore.

"What's he like then if he's not your type?" Your interest flicked back on. Had you been in your feline form your ears would've probably perked up with interest.

Nene seemed to take a while considering her answer. "He doesn't stand out much, he's shorter than me, a-and he's surprisingly good at fighting!"

Aoi seemed to agree that whomever she was decribing definitely didn't fit into her usual standards. You were still struggling to put a name or face to this guy- seriously, who was she talking about?

"Oh no. What will I do if he confesses to me?" Nene seemed awfully thrilled about the idea considering everything.

"Well, still why not try going out with him?"

"H-huh?"

"I mean you don't have much experience with guys, Nene-chan. You always get fooled by a pretty face." Aoi didn't seem to be holding back at all. So much so that you lowkey felt bad for the poor magenta eyed girl. "Either way you should get mentally prepared. At this rate he'll confess his feeling soon.
