"What...?" The poor blonde boy muttered, to which the ghostly boy smiled oh-so-innocently and enveloped Nene in his arms. You were about to open your mouth to shoot a nagging warning towards the ravenette until the sound of approaching footsteps effectively stole your attention.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?"

-------------------------------------------------

Your head shot up in alarm at the vaguely familiar voice, eyes shooting to stare at the owner of said voice. Currently crouched down to pick up a stray book on the floor, it was hard to get a good look at his face. You didn't bother listening in to the words said, instead focused on the yapping feeling of familiarity this man seemed to radiate.

Your eyelids fell halfway with wariness at the display of power from the odd man before you, quietly watching as he destroyed a being similar to the one that had torured your group not too long ago.

"Quit your yapping. Damn it, this is why I hate kids." He grunted, a pair of extra arms extending from his sides to grap onto Nene and Kou respectively. You tensed at this, but hesitated, sensing no true ill intent from the man who oddly enough reminded you of a spider.

You huffed at his lecturing, but agreed. They should've been more careful.

"Don't tease them." Hanako said simply, eyes wide with an eerie look of jollyness. Much to your surprise, the man complied.

"Yeah, yeah, I know Number Seven-sama. I won't touch our boss's guests."

Boss? So he was an apparition of the school, you concluded. Makes sense.

"W-what's going on?" Kou mumbled, understandable a little lost in the situation.

"Wonder Number Five, the 4 O'clock library. And it's manager, Tsuchigomori." Hanako introduced the lanky man briefly, earning a small hum of curiosity from you.

"A teacher who's also a wonder? I can't believe he's not human."

"It's pretty common. We apparitions can't exist if rumors about us die out. It's important to spread your own rumors. Some of your friends might not be human either." Tsuchigomori explained with a bored tone. His comment about apparitions among humans made Nene's eyes swivel to you, perhaps without even meaning to do so.

"Isn't that dangerous?" She questioned, gaze back towards the man. You didn't know how to feel about that question, considering she had asked it right after she had looked at you.

"It's no big deal. We're here to make sure it's safe." Hanako pointed out whilst a familiar white blob emerged from somewhere behind him. Oh...Yako.

"Yako-san, what are you doing here?" Nene voiced the question that had been swirling in your mind. "I was summoned by Number Seven-sama." She explained, simply and brief.
