Dogs. Everyone knows what they are and the fact that they are one of the absolute cutest animals on earth. Dogs have been in my life for basically the entirety of it, my friends and family have always had them around in their homes and as a part of their families, but I've never personally had one. Kylee has two at either of her parents houses and Justin has his at his parents house, and don't get me wrong, I love them all a lot and I do go see them when I can. But I've never had one of my own. I've always wanted one but neither of my parents were really dog people and didn't want the responsibility of one for the longest time. They always said "once you're moved out go for it." And I've been moved out for.. the last 3 almost 4 years. Out of the country actually. And yet I still find myself dog-less. To get to the point, I want a dog, Kylee wants a dog, so therefore we are both searching for dogs together here in LA. To make the long story short. She arrived from her Toronto apartment with Justin yesterday at around 1pm and we mostly spent the day doing absolutely fucking nothing because neither of us had any energy to leave the couch. We quite literally all slept there last night. All three of us. It was quite comfortable though. 10/10 recommend if you love your friends enough. Anyways, DOGS. we both have our preference on as to what breed of dog we want. Me being an Australian Shepherd and her being a Labradoodle. I've been searching the web and looking on Pinterest at Aussie puppies for the last year and over the last couple of months Kylee and I have been sending pictures and links to videos of them back and forth. To say we're obsessed would be an understatement. My house feels incredibly empty since I live alone (for the most part) (based in 2018) and I always find myself inviting people over because of it or sleeping over at my friends houses out of the feeling of complete loneliness when I'm at home alone. Andrew has a very busy work schedule that isn't necessarily consistent so we don't have a schedule on as to when he's home and Garrett is either working, sleeping, or back home with his family a lot of the time so he's busy. Out other friends are also filming and working all the time as well, that including Damian since he's my partner with this whole YouTube thing. Amber on the other hand is a nurse so she's like busy busy. I've been rambling... okay point being, I have anxiety about A. People breaking in because it's happened like 3 times to me in my life, and B. I hate being alone in my house all the time. So today we're getting a dog.

As of right now I am on my way to pick up Andrew from his apartment to take him to Shane's to work since his car is getting fixed and Garrett is still sleeping and am picking up coffee for him, Shane and Ryland, along with the other two who are still sleeping on my couch. the coffees were already in all of my cup holders and I was parked outside of his building waiting for him to come down. I waited for around 10 minutes before deciding to FaceTime him to see what was up when it rang and no one answered twice. I sighed and got out of my car, closing the door and locking it behind me, then walked into the building and went up the elevator to his floor. A routine that I'm very familiar with. I get out when the doors open and walked over to his door, unlocking it and walking in. I didn't see his computer on the coffee table like it normally is or any of the hard drives so I checked his office and they were all sitting there. I heard snoring coming from his room and I lightly kicked open the door to reveal Andrew sleeping shirtless in the middle of his bed with extremely messy hair and his phone blowing up. Mostly with texts from Justin and I with a phone call from both Shane and I and a crap load of groupchat notifications. I sighed and grabbed his phone and answered Shane's message by saying "he'll be there in like 25" he came back with an "okay :)" and I set the phone down and sat beside him. I started playing with his hair and eventually made my way down to his cheek and jaw, rubbing it lightly. He looked exhausted but very peaceful so I feel back for what I unfortunately have to do in this moment but it has to be done. I shook him lightly after calling his name a couple times and he woke up, rubbing his eyes. "It's like 11:30 dude" "and I fell sleep at 2am" I started rubbing his back lightly "I know but you need to get up for a bit" "and work I know" "well I have a surprise for after you're done work if that makes it any better" "if it's what I think it is I think I'll be too tired" "it's not that no." "Mkay" he sighed and sat up, rubbing his eyes once more before climbing out of bed in front of me and heading towards the bathroom. I smiled slightly and fished my phone out of my pocket when I felt it vibrate. It was a text from Kylee. "We have to leave in like an hour sis where are you?" "Waking mr. sleepy up to go to work" "he was still sleeping when you got there? Didn't he set an alarm?" "He slept through it I saw the snooze button saying "15:34" so it went off like three times" "damn. I mean at least he'll have a break for a week in a couple days" "hallelujah to that." "When will you be back?" "Like 30 minutes. I already have the coffee for all of them and us so I just have to drop him off and come back to you so we can go." "Okay see you soon love bug!" "<3" I locked my phone and slid it back in my pocket then looked up after Andrew came out of his closet changed. "Did you shower?" "Mhm" "how- oh right you don't have a million things to do in there right.." he laughed and went into his office to put his laptop and stuff into a bag then came back and grabbed his phone. "Ready?" "Mhm" I messed with his hair and walked ahead of him out the door. He locked it behind us and we went back down the elevator and put the doors. I unlocked my car and we got in. Weirdly enough the drinks were still cold with ice in them. I put my seat belt on and started the car then drove out of the parking lot and back onto the road. Following the familiar directions to their house. I looked over after a few minutes and saw him almost sleeping again with his hood up. I looked over at the road and turned onto their street and eventually into the driveway and buzzed the gate for it to open. Once it did I drove through and parked behind Shane's Jeep. I grabbed the drinks that were for the three of them and put them back in one of the treys then got out and set it on the top of my car. I climbed onto my seat and shook Andrew's shoulder to wake him up. He groaned and stretched then got out and met me at the front of the car. I leaned up and moved his hair out of his face and walked ahead of him into their house. Shane was already editing and Ryland was outside doing yoga so I set Shane's drink beside him and messed with his hair a bit then put Ryland's in the fridge and sent him a text. Andrew set his stuff down on the couch and blinked aggressively to wake himself up more. I walked over to him and leaned up to hold his face in my hands. "A couple more days and you'll have a bit of a break" "mhm" he leaned down and hugged me and I wrapped my arms around his neck trying not to break him based on the height difference and whispered "I love you" in his ear. He replied "I love you too" and separated the hug. He leaned down and kissed me lightly then sat down with his laptop and started working. I waved to Shane and left then waved to Ryland doing yoga and got back in my car, going out the gate and driving back home.
