*Y/n's pov*
Today is a decently special day for me. I'm letting people inside my home. And by people, I mean the Variety crew. For those who aren't aware of who they are, they're an entertainment company that is most known for going inside of celebrities homes (with their permission obviously) and following them around for a house tour. One of their most popular is Matthew Gray Gubler in 2019. And now they're coming inside my home for me to do the same. For those who aren't in the loop, I moved a few months ago outside of the extremely busy city of LA to a not-so-busy part of California that's about an hour away from where I used to live. Mostly for more privacy but also because Andrew and I kind of wanted to settle down a bit. And NO before you think it I am not pregnant. But hey, eventually it will probably happen and we both kinda just wanted to live somewhere where there wouldn't be fans or supporters or paparazzi constantly at my gate or following us around... you know? Yeah? Anyways. The Cariety crew will be here in a few minutes and I have to be at my door waiting. I think.. I looked up from my camera and out the window at the driveway and got a sudden wave of nausea but sighed and looked back at the camera and spoke again. "Okay clearly I'm shitting myself but it's fine. It's not like you guys haven't seen inside my house before but this is a full tour of literally the entire house. So.. yeah. Okay I'm going to turn the camera off and go downstairs to grab my coffee and wait patently for them to get here. Bye." I turned the camera off and left it sitting where it was then walked out of the bathroom that was connected to the master bathroom and walked out of the bedroom then down the stairs. I saw a car coming up the driveway with three people in it and a camera pointing towards the house and immediately knew that it was starting. My eyes widened and I ran to my kitchen to grab my coffee then ran to the front door to wait for their classic "knock". After a couple minutes they knocked and I opened the door. "Hey Y/n!" "Hello!" "Oh jheez- sorry come in" Cole behind the camera laughed slightly and walked in following Ava and Meave (the rest of the crew) and I shut the door behind them. "I feel like I JUST watched one of these videos to know where to start and what to say but my mind is throwing a blank at the moment-" they laughed "-so I'm just going to start here." "Right behind me is a bench that I thrifted from a place in downtown LA. and these hooks, surprise surprise, are from target. Because who in California doesn't shop there. Obviously shoes underneath the bench. One pair is actually Garrett's... he left them here a while ago and drove home in slippers.. I'm not sure how he didn't realize." I walked over to the other side of the front hallway "this mirror is actually one from my parents house that I, again, thrifted. I believe I thrifted it at a place by my grandparents house but I can't be sure. The table here is from CB2 one of my friends gave it to me before he moved." I moved my hand over to the bowl that was sitting beside a plant and laughed slightly "I'm just going to say it now, most of the little glasses and bowls that are used as decoration are thrifted. But I will try and see if I can find the item or one similar before this video is posted." I walked over to the front living room and stopped in the middle of the room. "These furniture pieces actually have an interesting story. I bought these from the set directors at Warner Bros and brought them here recently. For those who aren't friends fans than you have no idea what these are but this is the original couch from the coffee shop that they used as a prop. Same with the green chair here and the two other chairs as well. Now the cost of them on the other hand was like a left leg so for my emotional ass self I won't be discussing that but fun fact here. Since I only had one living room in the last place I put them in here and got another, more comfortable couch for the living room that's further back in the house. The coffee table is actually from Walmart. I saw it one day right before I moved and nearly squealed at it because it fit perfectly here. The rug is thrifted the side tables are from Home Depot and the plants are all from IKEA and the garden section of Walmart." I walked over to the mirror that was in the corner and continued to speak. "This mirror is again, thrifted. But it was one of Garrett's friends first. She kind of saw my house and was like 'oh you need this' and gave it to me. It was fun. Beside the mirror is a Polaroid wall where basically every person who has visited our house is photographed and stuck up there." I leaned up slightly and pointed at a few of them. "My parents and sister. Kylee. The squad from back home. Garrett here. Jack and his girlfriend. Caleb. Some of Andrew's university buddies up here. A few of my annoying friends down here. Yes, we say that about each other, I'm sure they're all laughing. Besides the point. We made it a tradition to take a picture of everyone that comes in here as a memory." I lead Cole over towards the dining room and stopped in front of it. "This is the dining room. See.. I set it with dishes and stuff but I don't like I've used it more than twice. Andrew and I used it the first night that we moved in and once with both of our parents but for the most part we eat on the couch or sitting at the kitchen island. Again, dining table from Home Depot. Chairs and rug are thrifted and restored/cleaned. These plants are from IKEA and the pots are also thrifted."
