Andrew and I are back in my hometown for the next week, but we decided to stay in an Airbnb in Toronto for that week, thinking that it would be a fun idea. I woke up at 8:15 exactly on a nice June morning. I look over to my left and see a mess of red beside me, that being Andrew. Instead of being a good girlfriend and letting him sleep, haha, I decide to roll over on top of him in an attempt to wake him up. I laid there for what felt like hours, but in reality was 10 minutes, until I came to the realization that my plan failed. Andrew, being the heavy ass sleeper that he is, was still sound asleep when I rolled off of him and rolled out of bed. The apartment that we were renting for the week was one bedroom two bathrooms, a kitchen and living room with a projector and screen, along with an Apple TV. Obviously since it came with an Apple TV I just assumed that it would come with a coffee maker. NOPE. I desperately needed coffee, since I can't live without it, so I decided to quit wining and get dressed to go get some.

Once I looked 'presentable', meaning a messy bun, leggings, and one of Andrew's sweaters, I got my shoes on and went on my way, obviously locking the door behind me. Toronto was a quiet place at 9am. Surprisingly, considering it's a giant ass city with almost 2 million people living in it. But this was home for me. I got to a small café that was a couple blocks away from the apartment and walked in. It was cute, definitely aestheticly pleasing, and the girl who worked there was extremely nice. I ordered a muffin and coffee for Andrew and just got myself a coffee and croissant, sitting down at a table and eating it. I decide to take my phone out and take pictures, since the sun was rising and the café was mostly white and light blue/peach, which matches my feed perfectly on Instagram. Once I took a few pictures I decided on one (down below) and posted it before I gave back the plate I was eating from and left.

I venture my way back to the apartment and eventually get there, walking through the lobby towards the elevator. I get in and press the correct floor and wait for it to go up. Having a bag of food along with two coffees attempting to press buttons isn't as easy as it sounds, but I manage. I set the coffees down along with the bag and get the key to unlock the door, once I do, I grab the drinks and Andrew's muffin again, kick the door back open, and walk in. Only to be met with a very pouty looking Andrew. "What's wring Andy?" "You left without me." He said, pouting. "I know. I saw your comment. And I'm sorry, but I needed caffeine." He nodded and walked over to me. Engulfing me in a hug. "I missed you. I didn't get to wake up next to you. The moment I looked over to your side of the bed I got a notification from your Instagram. And I got sad" "I'm sorry bub. But I tried to wake you up, you're a heavy ass sleeper." "No you didn't?! I would've felt it and woken up." "Yes I did. I laid on you. For like 10 minutes. And shook you. But nothin" "oh. Well. It's okay. You're here now." He smiled and took his coffee.

It was now around 11am, and I could now hear the rustle and bustle of the city. Andrew was sitting on the kitchen island on his phone texting Shane. While I was on the floor in front of him with my head on his legs texting Damian about when I'll be back in LA. "We should go on a walk" Andrew said suddenly, scaring me. "Jesus Christ." "What- oh, sorry" "no it's fine. And yes we should go on a walk." He smiled and took my hand leading me out of the apartment (locking the door) then down the elevator, through the lobby, and out the doors, the same route I went just an hour ago. "Where to ms. 'I'm from here so I know my way around'?" "Well first off I don't completely know my way around, and second off wherever you want to go." We walked for like an hour until Andrew stops and says "I have no idea where the fuck I'm going" and laughs. I laughed with him and said "well we're on a street full of food. So I'm going to assume that you're either A. Very fucking hungry, B. Literally have zero idea where we are. Or C. Both" he laughed. "Imma say C." "Alright then. Let's go, I know that there's a great Italian place a couple blocks from here." He nodded and we started walking there. "You know-" he started, "I missed this" "missed what?" "Us" "what do you mean? We're together all the time?" "I know we are. But I missed US. just us being together. You know?" "Yes I know Andrew." I giggled.

We got to the restaurant and got seated, as we finished ordering and the waiter was writing down our orders, I noticed that Andrew was texting someone, but a really long ass paragraph. So I decided to text him in the middle of him texting that person. "Hey, you know, you could always just call someone of you're gonna send them a big paragraph 😂" his eyes got wide and then he blushed. "I was texting Garrett" he then brought his phone up to eye level with my eyes and I nodded. He looked extremely nervous for some reason. I got my phone out and texted him again. "You look nervous, are you okay?" He once again widened his eyes and nodded. "Yeah I'm okay. Just have to talk to you about something" "over text?" "No. Oh god no. That would be awkward." He put his phone in his back pocket he looked up at me and then down at his hands. At this point we already had our dinner and we're just drinking (him whiskey, me wine), and talking. "I uh-" he chuckled. "Andrew whatever you have to say, you can just say it. It's me, remember." I laughed "I know. This is difficult but also needs to be asked at this point." I looked at him confused "why is this so hard?" After a tedious 30 seconds Andrew starts talking again, looking slightly less nervous than he did last time he looked at me. "Y/n. Do you remember when we first met?" "Ummm. Yes. It was back when I first moved to LA when I was 17, and you were 21. I was hanging out with Garrett and you walked into his apartment. We looked at each other and smiled. Until Garrett broke the eye contact by saying that he wanted to order chipotle, you chuckled and when into your room. And then the rest was history." He laughed. "Yeah I was talking about you to Garrett when you left." I laughed. "Anyways. When I first met you, I thought you were the most beautiful girl in the entire world, obviously, I couldn't do anything about it because you weren't of legal age, but the moment that I met you, I knew I wanted to be with you." He got off his chair and fumbled in his pocket for a couple seconds, before pulling out a velvet box. "The minute after you left, I told Garrett that I was going to marry you one day, so I intend to keep my promise. So, y/n /y/l/n will you help me keep this promise and marry me?" "Yes"

*Andrew's pov*
I slipped the ring on her finger and stood up, she smiled and grabbed my face to kiss me. That was a great walk in the city.
