*Y/n's pov*
"Y/n you can't just sit here all day" she said moving in the passenger side of my car. "Theoretically speaking we can. There's drive-thru's for food and drinks, and we can sleep in here." "Go get the coffee order." I glared at her and un-buckled my seat belt. "Fine" I grabbed my phone and opened my door then got out and closed it behind me. I walked around the car and into the Starbucks that we were parked in front of for the last hour. I eventually got up to the counter after waiting in line for a few minutes behind someone on FaceTime, sorry, an extremely awkward FaceTime that had probably 16 pauses and 20 awkward silent moments. I told "Spencer" that I had an order already paid for it and he nodded and pointed at the other side of the counter where my coffee was sitting with Amber's. I grabbed the trey and waved to him then walked out of the building and back to my car. I opened the door and got in then handed Amber the trey. "Jheez did you have to poop or something what was up with that?" "There was a line and I was behind an awkward FaceTime call and in front of a very tall human who looked very intimidating so you could say that it was a long time but imagine what it was like for me" she laughed "well you know you can just go up to the other side of the counter and grab it. Saves you the time in line" I rolled my eyes and was about to speak when I heard knocks on my window. I jumped slightly but put the window down to see the very tall human that was behind me in line standing in front of me. "Hi?" He smiled and handed me the bag of cake pops that I think I left inside.. "left these in there on the counter" "thank you". We smiled at each other for a while, giving each other *slightly awkward but nice at the same time* eye contact until he shook his head and broke it. "I'm uh.. gonna get out of your window and get home" "and I'm going to drive wherever she wants to go because she's a pain in the ass" he smiled and leaned up, squinting at the glares from the sun. "Cya around" I gave him a small (extremely shy and anxious) smile and he walked away. "What the fuck was that" "a conversation" "yeah mixed with obvious flirting" "I don't think so" "y/n c'mon. The guy you've been "dating" hasn't even come over to your house yet and it's been like three months. It's going nowhere." "You sound like Damian" "well I'm dating him am I not?" "Uh huh" "also how is he supposed to see you around if he never got your name" I looked over at my camera clearly sitting in the place that would be filming the both of us and back at Amber wearing her work clothes since she has to work tonight, and gave her a look. "I'm sure he'll find a way if he really wants to" "true enough now take us home queen. I want a nap before work." "So demanding. No wonder Damian loves you." She playfully slapped my shoulder and laughed.

I pulled into my driveway since that's where Damian was, and I'm assuming that she'd want to see him or nap with him before she has to work for 12 hours. I parked my car beside Damian's and turned it off then grabbed my coffee and camera after putting my phone in my pocket and got out of the car, Amber right behind me. We walked up to the front door and opened it "Damian's in the office and I'm sure he could use a nap" she smiled and ran upstairs. I sighed and walked into my kitchen to set my coffee down and looked over at the other side of the kitchen and saw take out bags I put my camera beside my coffee and walked over to the receipt that was stapled to one of the bags and smirked. I walked back over and grabbed my coffee and my phone from out of my coffee to call someone. I heard the phone ring and looked over at the very large human who was attempting to hide but couldn't and hung up the phone. I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room to see my friend hiding and the handsome stranger that I met earlier on my couch. "Garrett I can see you you know?" "Why am I not your size-" he huffed "it would be so much easier to hide somewhere." "You could've hid behind the other side of the couch and turned your phone on vibrate" he sighed and leaned back. I looked back over to the person sitting beside him. "Hey stranger" "hey stranger" we smiled at each other. "Hey Garr" "yeah?" "How did you get into my house" "Damian let us in" "I swear he'd let in a mass murderer or serial killer if they looked nice enough" he laughed. "This one-" he said referring to whom was sitting beside him "was wondering where your bathroom is" "OH- I'm a shitty host" I held out my hand and pulled him up to follow me "kitchens there with.. far too many snacks for a person who lives alone, though when you have Garrett as a friend there isn't enough. Ever. My library where I spend far too much of my time that I should be filming or editing, reading or sitting there staring at a wall, and the bathroom is right across from it." "Thanks" he walked in there and I walked back to Garrett and sat beside him. "So are you going to tell me who the handsome stranger that's sitting in my house is orrr.." "Andrew" I nodded "he knows who you are" "I assumed since he hangs out with you and you're a blabber mouth" "excuse me-" "you can't even deny it" "okay maybe I am but ouch" I laughed and looked over at the tv "we're you guys just staring at the wall or.." "No we were showing each other videos and laughing at how stupid they were" "oh I like him already" I looked down at the drink he was sipping and gasped "you're not drinking coffee-" "I wanted something else" "I don't even know you anymore. There isn't any cheez-itz out either. Who are you" "hi I'm Garrett Watts, I wanted coke as opposed to coffee and I didn't want snacks once in a lifetime" I bit my lip trying to hide a laugh, but failed and burst out laughing, Garrett did the same as a reaction. "Have you read at all today?" "No I woke up at 12 and immediately Had to drive Amber and I to get coffee" "who are you" "an idiot sandwich" he face palmed and let his hand slide "I can't with you" "uh huh" "how's things with that guy?" "Oh I ended that like two weeks ago. Not my type of guy." "Yeah he seemed off" "did he now?" "Yeah I got a vibe" I laughed "righttt" "I know a guy for you" "is it the guy who's in my bathroom at the moment" "maybe" "uh huh. Well I don't know him at all but he's cute so you get points there." "He's single too" "noo I never would've known" "he's potty trained and clean. And likes drives and coffee too" "I cannot believe you just said "potty trained" referring to a human being" "well he is. And he isn't lactose intolerant like you so you both won't have to worry about dying every time you have dairy of any kind" "good to know. I'm guessing you've told him all of the embarrassing stuff about me too?" "Mhm. Not all of it. But some." "Thanks" "nice sarcasm" "mhm" Andrew walked back out to the living room and sat back in the spot that he was sitting in before. "Did you die?" "No I was on the phone after" Garrett nodded and looked down at his watch "oh would you look at the time! I have to go. You two have fun BYE!" Andrew laughed and I stuck up the middle finger at him as he speeded out the door. "Who was that in the car with you earlier?" "OH! That's Amber. The guy who let you in is Damian. He's my camera man and help editing. I've been friends with them since grade school." He nodded "they're dating as well" he smiled "so you like books?" "Yeah I have an issue of picking a book up anywhere and disappearing for hours without texting anyone, but everyone I know knows that I'm just reading now. The first few times there was a riot outside my house because they thought I was dead" "I've never been a big reader but I do read on occasion" "I've read every book in that library at least twice. I have an order coming in with a few other ones this weekend" "that's awesome. I don't have the attention span to do that." I smiled "what kind of genre are you" "honestly I haven't read enough types of books to put myself into a slot of one specific genre" I nodded and got up, walking over to the room with probably 2000 books in it and looked around for the one in my head. I looked up and saw it then walked over to the ladder that was attached to the wall and climbed it. I grabbed the book and climbed back down then walked back out to the handsome guy sitting on my couch and handed it to him. "You seem like a fantasy fiction type person with a hint of comedy." "You might just be right."
