It was beginning to grow fairly late and pink dappled the sky as Sebastian began to carry his master home before the others arrived back from their sojourn to the market, Sebastian was feeling incredibly jubilant for today because Ciel had made his day, and he had a feeling that he had made Ciel's day perfect too, however, he couldn't afford to dwell around here or else he would risk the others discovering the affair that he and his master were having.

At home, Sebastian tucked little Ciel into bed and kissed him upon the forehead before whispering: "Sleep well, young master." Ciel then proceeded to grab his collar and pulled him into bed with him, much to Sebastian's surprise, however, it was a pleasant surprise as he was feeling rather tired himself. Ciel wrapped his arms around Sebastian's torso and held him close while Sebastian wrapped his arms around his master's shoulders and was greated with warmth that allowed him to slip into the darkness of slumber.

Sebastian later awoke to the sound of giggling coming from what sounded to be a woman and the sound of what appeared to be a snapshot, Sebastian glanced up with a glare at whatever sound this was and found Mey-rin as the perpetraitor of this sound with a camera in her hand with a picture that soon fell from a slot.

"You two are so cuuuuuuute!" She exclaimed while blushing and giggling.

"Mey-rin, please, go away, our lord is trying to sleep." The butler said with a pained tone of voice.

"Y-Yes, Sebastian." She answered before exiting the room.

"I'll let him sleep for awhile longer since he did not sleep well last night," Sebastian thought to himself. "I hope he does feel better and didn't lie to me just to take me out on what cna be considered our first 'date,' if he doesn't recover... I don't know what I would do; no, I mustn't think such things about my lord - my lord is strong and will pull through this."

However, despite his thoughts, the butler did not feel very reassured because, at the moment, the disadvantages seemed to outweigh the positives, and there were so little in-betweens; how could Sebastian live without Ciel? Ciel was his purpose, he was what he looked forward to, and, now, he was thinking that he could be taken away when he had just begun to claim him for himself, however, one thing was for certain, no matter what, Sebastian was going to make sure that Ciel enjoyed the time he spent with the butler. He looked so peaceful in his arms, he laid there, peacefully, his chest rising and falling gently as he slept and Sebastian looked upon him with the gaze of a lover - "I will let nothing harm him." He thought with a smile as Ciel opened his eyes to Sebastian's smiling face once again.

"Sebastian, I missed you." Ciel said with joy upon seeing his lover.

"And I missed you, my lord." The butler said with his handsome smile that never failed to amaze Ciel. "Also, I promise to never let anything harm you so long as I am around."

Ciel blushed and smiled gently, it was a smile that pleased Sebastian, that was all the thanks he needed for doing his duty to the young master, and he felt deeply rewarded because the young master even embraced him, much to his surprise, he even wrapped his arms tightly around the young master and held him close to his body in such a way that he would never let him go it seemed. And the two stayed like that for a while, just enjoying the embrace of the other as night began to fall upon the Phantomhive estate.
