"You two need to start at the beginning, before someone calls Voight." Looking into the eyes of Antonio Dawson, Elizabeth glances back and forth between him and Leon.
Telling the story could expose their friendship, and depending on how the adults take it, they might think they are dating.
"Okay, okay! I'll tell the story. But make a note, that this is on me, not Leon." Nodding, Antonio sits down, and waits for Elizabeth to start the story of how Leon and herself ended up in the lockup.
"All we wanted to do was meet up at the mall. Erin knew this and set it up."

"Okay, I'll go park the car, don't go too far" nodding to her surrogate mother, Elizabeth slides out of the SUV, and makes her way to the entrance. It was a very cold day in Chicago, and Elizabeth was meeting up with Leòn to Christmas shop together.
"Hey E" hugging the Latino, Elizabeth responds. As Erin approaches the two, a man makes it to them first. "Hey baby, wanna come with me. I'll make it worth you're wild."
Stepping in front of Elizabeth, "she's good man, get away from us." Laughing, the drunk comes even closer, testing Leòn. Erin makes it to the trio just in time. "I think you heard him, fine man, no means no. And if you don't want to get arrested right here; right now, and deal with their families, leave."
Finally leaving, Erin checks the two over, and they start their shopping spree.

"Okay, but how did this end with you punching the bastard in his own car?"
"We're getting there Tonio"

As the trio passes Victoria's Secret- which has Pink connected to it- Elizabeth noticed the man. "Leòn, he's following us from the store, holding" Leòn took action by switching places with Elizabeth.
Erin was getting antsy. She knew she could handle the man by herself, but Elizabeth nor Leòn have ever seen her actually seen her in action, and she would love to leave it that way.
Hugging her surrogate daughter, Erin suggested they went to the last store, and then out to eat.
Leaving the shoe store, the three make it to the entrance.
The pervert was still on mall grounds. As they make it halfway to where Erin parked, the man's truck comes speeding toward them. Erin pushed both kids out of the way, and she barely moved before she was hit.
Elizabeth saw her mother practically get run over. Seeing the man stumble out of the car, Elizabeth hits him with a strong right hook. "Asshole!"
As a patrol car made it, Erin had Elizabeth and Leòn sent to the district.
Making it there, Trudy brought both children to lock up. "You two aren't in trouble, but you're hiding here from Voight, Severide, and Cruz. Stay in here with Mary, I'll be back for you two, okay? The guards are looking out for you, their lives depend on it"
Sitting on the bed across from Mary, Elizabeth and Leòn send her a small smile, and lean against the wall. The guards had brought the kids fast food, and brought Mary her daily.
Even though they were in a cell with a 'criminal', they still felt safe. That was until Elizabeth asked why Mary was in. "I killed seventeen men"
That's all it took for Leòn to walk to the front of the cell, "guard, guard." If Elizabeth wasn't so scared, she probably would have laughed at Leòn. "Mr. Guard, sir. Y'all put us in here with someone who's killed seventeen men! Please don't let her add two teens to the list."
"Lee! Come here" Leòn looks back and Elizabeth, "no, E! You get over here" patting next to her, Elizabeth sees Leòn give in, and sit next to her. Whispering to the young Voight. "What if she has a shank? We not going out like this E"
"Stop being scared. You're acting like Joe. We'll be fine." At that moment in time, Antonio Dawson walked up to the cell. "Please tell me why we shouldn't visit the firehouse?"

"And now we're here! Can we leave now? And where's my mom?" Surprised to hear Elizabeth call Erin her mother, Antonio tries to hide his shock. "Okay kids, let's head out"
Seeing that there is a shift change in twenty minutes, the three sit outside of the building. Antonio had informed Erin that he had both teens, and they were at the firehouse dropping off Leòn.
Antonio knew Elizabeth pretty well, and he also knew that she wouldn't hang around Leòn with Jay, Hank, or Kelly present. He didn't say anything at the moment, but he would later.

"So, was today exciting enough for you miss adrenaline junky?" Laughing at Leon's comment, "yeah Mr adrenaline junky, it was"
Hugging him goodbye, we separate before Antonio could look back at us. "I'll see you soon LC"
"See you soon E"
Watching Leòn leave with Cruz, I see Shay and Matt walk down with Kelly and Gabby.

Seeing his daughter, Kelly makes a beeline for her. "Awe, you missed me old guy?" laughing, Kelly thanks Antonio for bringing her. "She's all yours, why don't you tell your dad about your wild day Elizabeth? See you Monday kiddo"
"Come on, let's head to my house." Stopping her father, Elizabeth looks at him. "That's home dad, it's a home"
"Okay, let's head home sweetheart" smiling, Kelly can't help but feel like major progress had been made.
