Chapter 23

"Back off from my Jimin,"

The girl said with a smirk as she used a finger to push Min's shoulder.

"You don't own him, quit being desperate,"

Min fired back with a straight face. The girl gasped as she clenched her jaw and raised her arm.

"You!"

Min rolled her eyes, prepared to grab her arm before she slapped her when another hand came from the side and grabbed the girl's wrist. Shocked, the girl turned around to see Jimin grabbing her wrist.

"Jimin oppa i-"

"Try laying your hands on her, I dare you,"

He threatened as he glared at the girl. The girl immediately ran away but Min was fuming.

"I was doing just fine without your help!"

Looking at her in disbelief, Jimin yelled back,

"I just saved you, can't you just say thank you?"

"Saved me? Why do you men always think girls need to be saved? I was doing very well on my own and was about to grab her arm until you interfered!"

Min hollered as everyone in the hallway turned to look at them. Jimin stared at her with his jaw dropped and his eyes wide open in shock.

"You're always so conceited and arrogant, thinking that you're the shit and that all the girls will fall for you just because you think you look attractive! Please, check your huge ego first! What are your motives of being close to me anyways?"

Min yelled as Jimin's eyes softened. His shoulders dropped as he looked at Min without being able to utter a word.

"Is that what you really think of me? A conceited and arrogant jerk who has a huge ego? You think that I'm being close to you because I have a motive? You think I thought of you as a stereotypical girl who needed to be saved?"

Tears formed in his eyes as he stared at Min with hurt. He clenched his jaw as he tried to suppress his tears.

"I grew close to you and helped you because I genuinely cared for you. You mattered to me but I guess you don't feel the same for me,"

With that Jimin stormed off, leaving Min alone in the hallway, fuming.
