When Sanem walked away from him,

his heart was again hurting but there was something else.

Sanem told him she had fallen in love with him!

and that made his aching heart hurt a little less.

If Sanem didn't have had the right mind

to say they needed some time

Can had scooped her up to give her a proper kiss,

he knew she wouldn't feel okay with that now.

Cause Sanem had been right, they needed time apart.

He needed time apart,

not because he didn't want her, it was because he did want her!

There was no confusion about that.

And Sanem was a wise woman

because there were matters of the heart

he had to deal with.

For a whole year he had been angry, not allowing himself to grieve.

Now with the truth coming out, he allowed himself to grieve,

Sanem gave him the time to grieve.

There was no doubt about their feelings for each other any more

His heart had fluttered hearing he say those words towards him,

he could feel that his heart became almost totally red again,

for her, for Sanem.

That little black spot that was left, that was meant for Emre.

The past year was filled with denial and anger.

And now in that needed time alone,

Can cried, he laughed, he smiled and then he cried some more.

Everything what had happened

since he started to live here in the jungle

until now went through his mind but there was one thing

that kept creeping to the surface of his thoughts,

Sanem fell in love with him since the first day she saw him!

And so he couldn't stop occasionally that smile

what kept tugging on his lips.

But then he thought about Nazli

and then he cried some more.

More as a year has past,

Nazli wouldn't wanted him to grieve.

She wanted him to celebrate the life they had together.

Nazli would kick his butt if she knew

he had been so angry all the time.

And then he thought back

about what Sanem had said to him once,
