Torn Between Two (Only SHORT chapters!)

Queen of the Jungle

Two words, it were only two words 

but those two words were so important

and not only the meaning behind them. 

When they were spoken, Can had looked up, 

to hear those two words and to actually understand them. 

While not only Aunt Remide said it but also all the animals.

With surprise Can and Sanem looked at each other.

"Sanem, I can understand them, 

the voices of all the animals, 

while I'm in my human form!"

It didn't sound strange to him, 

to call himself human or animal, 

this was what he was and it felt like it was supposed to be, 

it felt as if he belonged in both worlds, 

together with Sanem, 

like he was destined to be her partner.

Now with wonder looked Sanem at him, 

"I do as well while I know  

that the other animals can't do that"  

glancing from him to all the animals and her family.

Can looked at her in awe, 

"my love, they said to you, My Queen"

He looked thoughtful as if he remembered something 

then turned around to look at Aunt Remide 

and said "Wait....., you said it as well?"

"That's right, Can because she is"

With a proud smile she looked at them, 

"Sanem is the Queen of the Jungle"

Aunt Remide looked lovingly at Sanem who was speechless.

Sanem knew the words had to mean something important,

to see that they all, who surrounded them, bowed their heads, 

although she couldn't figure out what it meant.

Can looked at her with a smile on his face, 

"they all said "My Queen" to you, Sanem" 

"But what does it mean, Can, 

I don't know the word Queen?"

He was searching for the right words to explain 

cause he knew Sanem didn't know all the words 

they use in the human world yet.

"It means Sanem, that you are the most important one in the jungle"

And now she was stuttering,

"wh....what, m.....me, .....the most important one?

That can't be, Can?"

Can tried again to explain to her what the word Queen meant,

"A Queen means a female ruler, a female who is very important

for her country or in this case, ......jungle

and that means, Sanem, 

that you are the most important one among us",
