Sanem had to swallow before she spoke,

"I want to tell you what happened to your beloved"

Can wanted to speak again but Sanem cut him off.

"I'm sorry Can, please, let me tell this,

you have had your two weeks,

which I enjoyed also very much

but it is time to let me finally tell you what happened"

Can could only nodd now in agreement.

He was eager to tell her how he felt but he was the one now

who had to be patient and he really needed to hear this,

this had eaten at him for a year,

it would bring him closure about Nazli.

They went sitting around the campfire, Sanem opposite from him,

it gave her some breathing room

which she actually really didn't want.

What she wanted was to cup his face, look into his eyes

and say that she loved him.

What she wanted wasn't important now, telling the truth was.

"A year and and half ago my life changed when you

and your beloved started to live here in the jungle"

Can frowned.

A year and a half ago?

Was she watching them since then?

Was she watching.......him?

"My heart was beating so fast when I saw you for the first time, Can"

her voice turned softly,

"actually it is still beating so fast when I see you"

with a clearer voice she continued,

"I didn't know what was happening to me,

......further along I understood and I also understood

right away that it was never going to happen"

She stopped for a second before she talked further.

"You two intrigued me

and I have watched you interact with each other,

it seems now that I, unaware, have learned from that,

....feelings, .....words, ......emotions,

even though I knew it couldn't be, I wanted to learn from you,

wanted to protect you both from the dangers in the jungle

and in the end",

her voice became soft again, "in the end.........I have failed"

What feeling?

What couldn't be?

As for him concerned, Sanem was talking in riddles.

And then, along the way he repeated her words in his head,
