Ruhi jumped excitiedly as she saw Ishita Aunty waiting at the front door. She ran and quickly gave her a hug.
"Hi Ruhi! Kaisi ho?" Ishita asked. As soon as she saw the young girl, she instantly forgot about all of her feelings about the investors.
"Hi Ishita Aunty!! Mein theek hoon! Aap ne mera new toy dekha? Dadi ne mere liye liya!!" She jumped up and down and quickly ran into her room to get the toy.
That left Ishita and Raman in the living room while he was doing work on his computer. They stood there a few minutes in awkward silence before he asked her if she was alright.
"Ishita, meine dekha ghar aate waqt tumhara aankh mein se aansu nikal rahe the. Kuch hua kya? Tumhe koi chot toh nahi?" he asked.
This surprised both of them. All of a sudden, why was he being so nice to her. Anway, she decided to tell him the long story of the investors.
Raman was enraged. "USNE KAISE SOCH LIYE KI LADKI KO BUSINESS CHALANA NAHI AATA. AAJ TUM HO, KAAL RUHI HOGI, TOH USKA MATLAB AISA TOH NAHI KI WOH TUMHE MANA KARDE. CHALLO, KAL HUM SUBAH USKE PAAS JAYENGE AUR USKO CONFRONT KARENGE."
At this time, Ruhi came out. "Papa? Aap itna gussa kyun ho?" She asked innocently.
"Kuch nahi hua Ruhi" Ishita responsed. "Challo hum khelne jate hai, lekin aap 2 minutes room me jaa sakte ho? Mujhe tumhara papa ke saath kuch baat karni hai?"
"Theek hai" Ruhi went back into her room and started to play again.
"Raman, thank you for the help lekin mein yeh khud karna chahti hoon aur mein kisi aur tarah investors dhundh loongi, mujhe iski zaroorat nahi hai. Vaise bhi mujhe abhi inke saath kaam karna bhi nahi chahungi." Ishita said.
"Ok Ishita, lekin, abh tumhara clinic ka kya hoga? Ek kaam karo, kaal tum mere saath office me aana, aur wahan mere kuch investors hai jinko tum apana idea kehna. Woh sunenge aur agar usse acha laga toh woh tumhe loan dedenge." Raman said.
"Thank you Raman, mujhe nahi pata mein tumhe kaise yeh aisan wapas kar sakti hoon..." Ishita started speaking but Raman cut her off.
"Please, tumne meri beti ke liye bahot kuch kiya hai, so please aap mujhe kuch mat kahiye." He said.
Ishita called for Ruhi and they went outside to play.
Raman tried to start working again but he was soon found in a difficult situation. Why? Usne aisa kyun kahan ki uske investors Ishita ka idea listen karenge? Agar usne Ishita ko paise de diye toh woh meri company ko nahi denge. But for some reason, iska koi asar nahi hua, aur phir bhi mujhe laga ki usko mere zyada zaroorat hai. Lekin, mein kitane mahino se yeh investors dhundhraha tha aur abh mujhe mile toh meine kisi aur ko de diye. Lekin usne Ruhi ke liye kitna kiya, toh complain nahi karni chaiye.
Raman kept thinking so many things until he eventually fell asleep right there on the sofa. After a few hours, when Ishita and Ruhi were done playing, they came upstairs to find him sleeping there.
"Hahahah, dekho Ishita Aunty, papa wahan sogaye" Ruhi laughed gently.
"Haan, Ruhi. Woh bahot thake hue lag rahe, so issi liye so gaye honge. Tum apane room me jau aur brush karo, aur mein papa ko uske room mein move kar deti hoon. Theek hai?" Ishita asked.
Ruhi nodded then went into her room to go brush while Ishita wondered how she was going to move Raman.
She picked him up by one hand but he was so heavy that she almost fell down. Slowly she got his other hand around her neck so that his whole weight was on her. She almost had to drag him into his room. When she got to his bed, as she went to place him down, his hands were still around her neck so he pulled her down as well. Noticing their closeness, she quickly tried to push away from him but his hands were so heavy around her neck she wasn't able to move as both of her hands were underneath his heavy body.
She tried to pull her hands out from under him but she wasn't able to so she decided she would sit on the side of the bed until he woke up and then go back home. As time passed, Ishita got so tired, and her eyes started closing. Slowly and slowly she drifted into a deep sleep, forgetting about what she was doing or where she was.
