As Ishita stared into the eyes of the investors, she angrily waited for an answer.

"Dekhye Miss.Ishita, aapki presentation bahut achi thi, aur mein yeh bhi manta hoon ki humne aap ke friend ko investment dia apana clinic khulne ki liye. Lekin, aap mein ek kami hai jo unme hai..." The investor stated. "Aap aurot ho aur naturally mard mein aur aurat mein bahot farq hai."

Ishita had NOT imagined this to be his answer to why they wouldn't give her the investment. She didn't know what to expect but it was not this.

"I'm sorry Miss.Ishita, lekin saalon se hum dekhrahe ki aurot ar mard mein farq hai. Woh jitna kar sakte hai, utna tum nahi kar sakti. Issi liye, thank you for your time lekin hum aapko investment nahi de sakte."

With that, the four investors walked out of the meeting room, leaving Ishita fuming. Yeh kaise aadmi the, khadus, aise aadmi ko us post tak kaise poche. Jinko lagta hai ki mard aur aurat mein farq hai, is zamane mein usko psychiatrist ke paas jaana chaiye.

She hurriedly gathered all of her things and rushed out of the door. As she left the building angrily and put everything in her car and started it. She turned the key in the ignition but for some reason it wouldn't start. She looked up to see she had accidentally left the light on which drained the battery.

Ugh. Abh mein kya karungi. She got out of the car and waited to see if someone would be able to jumpstart the car or if she could find a riksha. Just then, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around.

Standing in front of her was that Raavan Kumar. The one she had bumped in the morning. She rolled her eyes and asked him, "Aap ko kuch chaiye?"

"Wow, nice to see you too!" Raman said sarcastically. "Meine dekha aapki car start nahi ho rahi toh mein aapko ghar drop kar sakta hoon, after all hum same jageh peh rehte hai." He offered.

She was startled. Yeh Raman itna nice kyun ho raha tha. But anyway, going with him was better than going with a stranger, so she agreed.

She grabbed her stuff from the car, locked it and got into his car. The drive home was pin-drop silent. As he pulled into the parking, he stared at Ishita. It was clear that she was not in a good mood. As she was about to exit, he asked, "Ishita, agar aapko mujhe dil halka karne ki liye kehna ho toh aap keh sakte ho." Raman was surprised by this statement. Why did he just say that?? He was supposed to hate Ishita, then why does he feel the need to be nice?

"Nahi, thank you. Ruhi hai aapke ghar? Mujhe unke saath thoda waqt bitana hai." Ishita replied calmly. She was sure, yeh aadmi itna nice ban raha hai, koi toh vajah hogi.

"Haan, hum upar jaate hai aur woh maa ke paas hogi, toh tum mere ghar aajana." Raman replied.

They both got out of the car and started to climb the stairs towards their floor. As they got there, Ishita told Raman she would go change and then meeting him at his house.

Ishita went inside to be greeted by Amma and Appa.

"Kanha! Tum aagayi! Kaisa tha? Usne dediya na? Hai venkateshwara! Ishu jaldi bolo?!?" Amma replied. She could not wait any longer.

"Nahi Amma." Ishita started crying. "Usne kaha ki mein ek aurat hoon issi liye mein mard jaisa nahi kar sakti aur mein uske layak nahi hoon is liye investment nahi diya."

Appa came over to her to comfort her. "Koi baat nahi Ishu, us type ke logon ke saath humein bhi investment lena bhi nahi hai."

Ishita looked up to her father surprised. He had wanted this since she was a child. "Aap naraz nahi ho?" She asked.

Appa replied. "Of course not, Ishu. Jinko lagta hai ki aurat mard jaisa nahi kar sakti woh log ko khud kuch samaj nahi aata, toh woh tumhe kya sikhate ya dilwate. Yeh toh acha hua ki unka sach ka pata chalgaya warna investment ke baad tum phasjati na?"

Ishita was so relieved. She gently laid her head on Ammas shoulders and cried for a few minutes, then felt better.

"Amma, abh mein theek hoon. Mein abh thodi der Ruhi ke saath khelne jaa rahi hoon kyun ki usne mujse promise kiya tha, aur phir mein ghar aajaungi khane ke liye." She told her Amma.

"Acha kanna. Mein tumhara favorite banaungi aaj. Jaldi aana." Amma said.

With that, Ishita walked over to Raman's house and rang the doorbell.

Why do you think Raman was being so nice to Ishita? Does he really want something from her? Why is he being so nice to her?
