Hmmmm... Ishita thought. Why is this man being so nice to me? There is absolutely no way he really cares about my feelings. What is in it for him? Sometimes its really funny how people change when something important to them is on the line. Maybe it's because i'm friends with Ruhi. But he doesn't seem to care about his daughter so much so why? Anyway, WHAT SHOULD I DO... Should I do as he said and release my feelings to him? No, NO. I can't do that. But he seems so genuine. UGH. This is so difficult. Mein kaise musibat mein hoon?!

"Thank you. Nahi, mein theek hoon." Ishita said. "Hum challein?" She decided it would be best to just leave things the way they were and get over with the event Ruhi wanted Ishita and Raman to go together so much. 

Ishita was about to open her door when Raman came running to her side. He opened the door like a true gentleman. Honestly, he had absolutely no clue why he did it. Somehow, he convinced himself he did it for the press to show that he was a man of honor and dignity. Alarmed, Ishita sat and thought for a few seconds. Why is he being so nice to me? She convinced herself that it was for Ruhi because she wanted them to go together. Raman held out his hand and she held it. It seemed like something happened when they touched hands. They both quickly pulled away and Ishita got up on her own. After adjusting her outfit, Ishita opened the back door and gently woke Ruhi up.

"Ruhi? Hum aagaye! Ruhi! Utho!" Ishita said. Ruhi gently stirred and said "Ishita mumma, aap mujhe thodi der aur sone dijye na." Instantly Ishita and Raman felt someting. To Raman, he was alarmed because Ruhi had just called their neighbor with the name of mom. Maa had been wanting Raman to find Ruhi a mother for so long but this was just unexpected. To Ishita, she had started tearing up. She had never imagined to be called maa and that too by a girl she had just met. But for some reason, to both Raman and Ishita, the name seemed like the named suited. They knew it was wrong but they didn't correct her.

"Ruhi? Mein Ishita Aunty bol rahi hoon. Challein ander?" Ishita said. She didn't want to create a scene. She would tell Amma and Appa the truth when she got home and then she could tell them about Ruhi's incident. But for the time being, she just had to get through the night. 

"Haan Ishita Aunty. Challo." Ruhi hopped out of the car. She waited. She grabbed Raman's left hand and held it with her right hand and she grabbed Ishita's right hand and held it with her left hand. The three walked in a line onto the red carpet where the media took non-stop pictures.

The award ceremony had consisted of many famous people in the business industry giving speeches about their progress but both Raman and Ishita were thinking about other things. They both were talking about the Ishita mumma incident. They only broke out of concentration when the announcer stated the name "RAMAN BHALLA!" The audience broke into applauds. 

"YYAYYAYYAY! PAPA KO AWARD MIL GAYA!" Ruhi screamed. She quickly got up and starting jumping up and down with excitement.
