Kya Yeh Hai Mohabbatein?

Ishita wasn't sure about why she was feeling this way. She wasn't a child that she had to get so enthusiastic but she was. She quickly put on her green kurta and white pyjama pants and grabbed a nice black and golden embroidery shawl. She draped it over her shoulder and put on her sandals. She quietly walked to the door to make sure she didn't wake anyone up and unlocked her door. 

Raman was confused. Why would he want to go outside with Ishita this late at night. But in the end, he wanted to so he quickly got dressed. He wore his green night shirt and white pyjama pants. He quietly walked to the door so he didn't wake anyone up and unlocked his door.

They both came out at the same time. They looked at the others clothing. Both green tops? And white bottoms? How did that happen. They both looked back at their faces. They both let out a little small laugh. They closed their doors and walked down the stairs in silence. They bother were wondering what to say.

"Aap ko toh pata hai mera rishta ka kya hua Prateek ke saath. Lekin aap kabhi aap ke-." Ishita said. She was about to finish her sentence when Raman started to speak.

"Shagun. Meri wife thi. Hum dono ek dusere se bahot pyaar karte the. Or thats what mujhe lagta tha." Raman started. They were both now walking along the side of the road in between their community complex. 

"Hum dono bahot khush the. Humari life, mera job, kuch problem nahi thi. Lekin ek din, mera ek naya boss aaya, Ashok Khana. Mein uski bahot respect karta tha. Shagun aur mein Adi, mera beta, ke parents the, lekin humein ek aur bacha chaiya tha. Aur phir Shagun pregnant hui Ruhi ke saath. Aur phir problems start hue. Hum dono ke bich choti arguments hone lagi. Mujhe lagi ki hormones hoge, lekin phir pata challa ki yeh toh kuch aur hi tha. Ek din, Ashok nein mujhe aur Shagun ko ek CEO event mein bulaya. Hum aaj gaye the na, woh event. Toh us din couples dance hua tha. Toh Ashok Shagun ko puchne aaya ke mein isko leja sakta hoon aur meine bina kuch pucha, bina kuch soche, haan bol diya, yeh soch ke ki mera boss meri wife ke saath dance kar raha hai lekin jab dance start hua, woh ek dono ke saath aise dance kar rahe the ki mujhe laga ke kuch aur hi chal raha hai. Aur phir event peh mein Shagun ko dhundne gaya ghar jaane ke liye toh mujhe Ashok aur Shagun ko ek kamare mein dekha. Phir hum ghar chale gaye lekin meine nazar andaz kia. Aur phir ek din meine suna ki woh Adi koh keh rahi thi ki mein tho usse kuch de nahi sakta lekin Ashok Uncle sab kuch leke ayenge uske liye. Us raat meine aur Shagun ne kya argument kia hai. Tabse sab kuch badal gaya tha."

"I'm so sorry. Lagta hai ki aapne bahot kuch saha hai zindagi mein. Aap ne koi aur ko nahi dhunda?" Ishita asked.

"Nahi, mein toh believe karta hoon ki ek baar jeete hai, ek baar marte hai, shaadi bhi ek baar hota hai, aur pyar bhi ek baar hi hota hai." Raman said. "Lekin meri ma ka ek goal hai. Woh chahti hai ki meri beti Ruhi ko ek maa miljaye. Usko ek achi ladki dhundni hai, tumhar-" Raman was about to say tumhare jaisi but he stopped. Hopefully she hadn't heard. "Tumne kisi aur ko nahi dhunda?"

"Mein banjh hoon na. Issiliye koi mujhe shaadi nahi karna chahta." Ishita said. She started tearing up.

"Tum aisa mat kaho. Banjh shabd bahot bura hai. Tum maa nahi bansakti isme tumhara kya galti?" Raman said.
