Ashton and I, hurriedly make our way to principle Higgins office, and take a seat in the two chairs placed in front of her desk.

"What do you think, you two were doing yesterday?" She questions staring at both of us intently. "And, what makes you think you can just waltz back into school, like you own the place?"

"It's your fault for bori-" Ashton starts, but what ever he is going to say, will probably get ourselves further into trouble. So I cut him off. "Sorry, it was all my fault. It was a stupid dare, and I promise it will never happen again."

"But Ella, your a grade A student, by the look on your attendance record you've never missed a day of school." I hear Ashton snicker besides me, and I wack him on the leg.

"I'm sorry to say Ella, but you will be getting a detention, and I am setting up a meeting with your parents now, because of your sudden change in attitude." I gasp. No, I've never had a detention ever! "And you Mr Irwin, will be joining her for detention, but next time something like this happens, you will be given an expulsion."

"But, what my family ha-"

"No if's, or but's. You will bring your grades up, and change your shitty attitude or your out, period."

"You two are dismissed from your classes today, so you can think about your actions. But no leaving the school grounds, Ashton." I chuckle at her little add on, but she shoots me a glare that I respond to right away, and shut up.

"Detention is tommorow don't be late! Now leave you rascals!"

We scurry out of her office, and I start bursting into a fit of laughter, so does Ashton.

He puts hangs his arm around my shoulders, and says with a smug look appearing on his face "Well that was fun!"

"No, I am going to get killed!"

"No your not Ella, your parents just need to know that your a teenage girl who needs to experience new things, in the world." He says, as he draws a circle with his fingers in the air.

"Nup, I'm going to die, be at my funeral."

"Only if there's cake." He states, which makes us both laugh.

"No, sersiouly im going to die." I face palm myself.

"Life isn't about dying Ella. It's about the moments leading up to it. And I think the moment we shared was very worth while. Plus, last time I checked, you weren't able to tell the future. So, don't act like you know, what hasn't happened yet." He says, as he places his fist on his chest.

"Since when did you go all poetry on me? But your right." I turn around and face him, and the world stop for a moment as I give him a hug, but it all is interrupted when I see my two parents barging through the school gates.

'Ella, will you be my girlfriend -Ryden'

I was taken back. I could not believe the thing that only happens in fairy tales and dreams and defiantly not in reality is happening right now, to me!

I see Ryden come up the stairs that connect the field, and the seats together, with a bouquet of roses, not even taking his eyes off me to check out the cheerleaders in there skimpy outfits. Wow, that's a first.

My heart starts to fasten, and it feels like it got stuck in my throat.

He makes his way past the one or two rows in front of me, and excuses himself as he squishes past the people next to me.

I have a little panic attack as Ryden becomes face to face with me.

He goes down on one knee, as he takes the bouquet of roses, and says "Ella will you be my girlfriend?"

My mind races with questions as I've never had a boyfriend before so I don't know what to say. I hadn't even talked to him let alone be in the same proximity as him. He usually sits in the popular area, and I, well me and Wendy stay in the library- the no cool kid zone.

More questions run through my mind.

What if I'm a bad girlfriend?
What if I dot even like him?
Would he know I've had no boyfriend before?

I guess I was just staring at him dumb founded because he clears his throat.

Before I could answer, this feeling of butterflies but ten times more, erupts in my stomach.

I open my mouth to say my answer but as I do so, all that comes out is vomit- all over Ryden.

My parents hurry into my school with dissatisfaction, and disappointed looked on their faces.

I quickly let go of Ashton, and turn to face them.

"Oh em gee Ella! Are you okay babe?" Mum says to me as soon as she enters the school. My mum tries to keep up with the new lingo of today's society.

Even though, she thinks it sounds cool it mostly sounds as if she is purposely trying to embarrass me.

I see Ashton laugh besides me, which makes my parents attention to gaze back to him.

"And you are, young sir?" My dad questions.

"Ashton, Ashton Irwin." He sticks his hand out for my dad to shake, and my dad surprisingly accepts.

"Well, we should be going to meeting. Be good kids, and stay safe!" My dad yells as he walks in the direction of the office.

"Embarrassing." I mutter under my breath.

After minutes, which seemed like hours of waiting, my parents finally come out. As they do, the only words that leave their mouths are "You are forbidden to see that boy again."
