...

Louis parked the car outside the one place he hadn't visited on four years. Nervously he walked the path there. Everything would go alright, he knew. Anne would understand him somehow. At least that's what he hoped would happen.

Louis stood in-front of the door. Deciding if he should ring the bell or run away and jump of a cliff. He knew he was being dramatic.

He rang the bell hesitating holding his breath unknowingly. Eyes closed and fingers crossed.

"Coming!"-The angelic voice of a women was heard from deep within the house. Footsteps could be heard from behind it, rushing down the stairs and than stopping at the door. The door clicked open and Anne stood on the doorstep.

Louis lowered his head greeting her.

Anne stood there looking at the broken small boy. She said nothing, she wrapped her warm motherly arms around Louis and rested her head on his shoulder.

Louis started to feel overwhelmed, he didn't want to let himself look weak, but he needed to break so much. He let his sobs escape his mouth as he wrapped his arms even stronger than before.-"Anne..."-He choked out.

"Shh...come inside."-She said softly.-"Oh my boy, what happened to you?"

Louis tried to wipe his tears but new ones replaced them repeatedly. He didn't know he'd be crying so much when he first got here.

He followed Anne to the living room, not much had changed, a few new family pictures and a pair of new furnitures, the design was the same and as always there where plants and flowers everywhere. It seemed so homely.

He sat on the sofa, Anne sitting next to him as she stood silent, just looking at Louis, every detail gave her bad vibes, he was skinny, bags under eyes, bloody eyes and mostly dried skin. Probably from dehydration.

Louis wanted to break the silence, he wiped a tear and collected his strength.-"Anne, I am really sorry...for everything."-He choked out.

"Shhh, I am not the one to apologise too..."-Anne said offering him a few biscuits although Louis rejected the offer almost immediately.

"I felt like only you could help me with that...I messed up big time Anne, and it wasn't my fault...It's been 4 tiring years for me, being controlled in every step."-Louis started to explain.

"It has been indeed."

"Yeah, but I want to explain everything to you and If you say I shouldn't talk to Harry ever again I won't even try...But I need you to listen to me first."-Louis said lowering his head.

"Go on Louis, tell me what's wrong with you and Harry. You left without an explanation, I am sure you have it, and you would never leave Harry without a strong one."-Anne said taking Louis hand in hers for comforting.

Louis took a deep breath and started to explain everything to Anne, how he was called one day in and forced into accepting a contract for Harry's sake, how he was forced into going back to stunts soon after, than Freddie's birth, his mothers death, than his sisters, everything that had happened those 4 and a half years.

Than in the end he explained how Zayn had reentered his life uninvited and changed it for better, proposing a way to get them free of their paper chains. Than how Niall proudly made Modest! sign a contract to free them without them noticing and how Liam got Simon to sign the rest in a unknown way which probably been illegal somehow.

By the end of the confession, Louis and Anne where both in tears and holding each other in a tight hug that Anne had demanded.

"Lou, baby boy, life has been so mean to you both, you are the one of the strongest people I have ever meet."-Anne cried holding him.

Louis smiled brokenly.

"I know my son Lou, he will forgive you... I know...But Louis, his heart is broken too. It's also been 4 dreadful years for him too. Promise to take care of him, and never leave him ever again."-Anne asked .

"I love him Anne, I will always love him. I hope he forgives me. Even if it doesn't set things right, or if it doesn't get Harry to be with me again, I just want him to know...I would have never left him willingly. Never."-Louis said looking back at their jointed hands.

"Your mom would be so proud of you Louis, take that from another mother herself."-She said making Louis let go of another tear, it running all the way down his cheek.

"Thanks...I don't know how to even thank you. This means to much to me. And I am still really sorry."-Louis said brushing the hair out of his red wet face.

"I forgive you Lou."-She said.

Louis smiled fondly.

"Okay now, enough tears for today! Look at how skinny you've grown! You aren't leaving this house without eating everything I prepared! Starting from these biscuits here!"-She said placing a ton of biscuits in front of him.

"Anne I really cannot."

"Don't you dare! How would I explain to Jay when I go up there that I let you starve. I promised her once to take care of you. Now eat!"-She said smiling softly.

Louis smiled genuinely, this was a good start, hopefully the end would be just the same.
