Louis didn't make it obvious to Harry that there was a problem and he did as Simon said...He didn't tell him anything. Oh, how he regretted doing that...With all his heart! If he had just told him from the beginning. Just a hint, just a word...
Louis called Liam, told him the situation, Simon said don't tell Harry, he never said don't tell Liam, and he needed a friend to be there with him.
"I am on my way to there now. Drive safe Lou."-Liam said and closed the call.
He was shaking from fear, the last time they called him on a meeting, they made him sign a contract to stay away from Harry on public, what would they do now? Kill him. That's where he underestimated them...they could do much worse and he understood that the very same day.
After a short drive Louis arrived to the center. He entered the building, took the elevator to the last floor and waited.
The secretary showed him the way, that he was familiar with by now. He called it the hallway of misery. The doors opened to reveal all the management board, Simon and Liam around a round table.
"Hey lads."-Louis said with his usual smile, faking it obviously, but he didn't want to show how stressed he was.
"Sit Tomlinson."-One of the suited mans said.
Louis did as told and sat next to Liam, who gave him a confronting hug.
"May this meeting begin."-They said.
"So Louis. We have called you here, to offer you two choices."-Simon got right within.
"Of what?"-Louis asked now becoming even more anxious.
"Let me finish. Two choices regarding your relationship with Harry."
That's when Louis knew what was coming. He knew, and he wanted to scream than and there. Why did they care about their relationship that much?
"You have to choose between letting him free or coming out in public and your careers to be over."-Simon completed and one of the suited mans gave him a pen and a paper to sign.
"What do you mean letting him free!"-Louis said becoming mad.
Liam held him down putting a hand on his chest.-"Louis listen to the end."-he said still not knowing what was going on.
"Louis, the band is in hiatus. Harry will have to go his own way, and to do that we have to get rid of Larry, or it will forever stain his career. and with you around he wont be having success...and the plans for his future are piling up."-A man explained.
Louis world shattered before his eyes. He didn't let himself cry, bet he wanted too so bad. This was injustice. How was this even a choice?
"It's for the best."-Simon said and that's where Louis exploded.
"DO YOU REALLY THINK I WILL GIVE UP ON HARRY FOR MY CAREER!"-Louis yelled slamming his fist on the table, Liam holding him back shocked by what was going on on this room.
"Nobody gives a shit about your career Louis! We are talking about his career! You pick, do you want his career to be over so you two can continue having a cinderella happy ending or do you want him to continue doing what makes him happy."-Simon asked.
"You don't get to decide what he wants!"-Louis yelled again.-"Neither do I!"
"But you do, aren't you his partner? Imagine how he will hate you when his career is over because of you."
"He will never forgive me if I brake up with him!"-Louis said his voice almost cracked.
"You choose Louis. Sign the paper or the news will be filled with your dooms day news."-A man said.
"YOU CANT DO THIS TO US!"-Louis cried out, now fully sobbing.
"Simon this is unfair. This is illegal!"-Liam yelled too, holding his friend who was braking into millions of pieces on his arms.
"Shut up Liam, you have no business on this, and hell yeah it is legal, this is how music industry works, sorry to break it to you."-Simon called back.
"Sign the papers now."-Simon ordered.
"NO NO please give me one day, just another one more day, Please!"-Louis begged.
"We cant Tomlinson."-a suited man said.
"Hell you can!"-Liam said angry at every single person in that room except Louis.
"We don't want to."
"Please! Simon please! Please one day! I wont tell him about the contract or this meeting! I promise just please."-Louis begged again.
"Louis enough and sign that already!"-Simon said becoming uncomfortable.
Louis got down on his knees, feeling helpless.-"I BEG YOU SIMON! I BEG YOU ONE MORE DAY TO SAY GOODBYE! I BEG YOU ALL PLEASE ONE MORE DAY! TO SAY MY GOODBYES."-Louis was crying, it wasn't his nature but he couldn't hold himself. -"I beg you please."-He said choking out.
Everyone on the table looked untamed by his breaking down. Liam was crying with Louis now, holding him up, calling their lawyers with his free hand.
"One day, Louis but you tell him one word about the contract and everything is over, and it will be your fault!"-A man on a suit said.
Louis shoot up, not even saying thanks, grabbed the paper showed it on his pocket and left running from the door. Liam following after him.
"Lou wait! LOU!"-Liam called as Louis entered his car.
"I can't miss a second Liam, I only have 24 hours to live, than I'll die as soon as this is signed...I need to go home, my home!"-Louis said driving off.
That might be the last time he called that place home. Because Harry would not be there after tomorrow...And he hated life just thinking about it. All he thought right now, was going home, home for the last time.
