...
Louis watched as Harry got extremely careful with Freddie on his arms. While his son enjoyed a chocolate, the brand Louis had been looking for all day. He watched as Harry held his world on his hands, both of them creating his universe. For a second he tried to imagine this in a different reality, where him and Harry had this small family all for themselves. And he wasn't a single father who now lived and breathed only for his son, in a big mansion with no one else to warm his bed and his heart.
He stepped into the situation swallowing his tears down. Always looking stron.-"I see you found a way to win his heart, I'll really have to thank you because all stores where closed because it's Sunday, and I could not find the chocolate he wants anywhere."-Louis said.
Freddie giggled munching on his treat..-"Daddie, Hawy is good like you say."
"Of course he is hun."-Louis said and took another look of Harry.
Harry felt his face get hot, he slowly placed Freddie down on the couch and turned to look at Louis again.-"Hi to you too Louis."
"Skip the formalities, you here to talk like mature people or should I sent Freddie upstairs if you want to torture me."-He said lowly for Freddie not to hear.
Harry looked down at his feet.-"Louis I'm sorry for my overreaction...I'm here just to talk."
Louis nodded.
Freddie was now tugging on his leg.-"Daddie, daddie."
"Yes hun?"-Louis asked ruffling his hair.
Freddie didn't say anything, than he looked at Harry with a sad expression.-"Why do you make daddie sad?"
Harry felt a knot form on his throat. How to tell a child it was the other way around...or that the situation was complicated that even he grown up couldn't understand.
Louis smiled.-"That's not true hun, I'm glad he's here. You got to finally meet him, you've been on my back for a while now!"
"Me and Hawy are friends fow a long time now."-Freddie giggled.
Harry smiled and coughed. -"Just being nice to the boy who braids Cliffords tail every week!"
Freddie giggled as Louis just stood there confused...-"What is this about Styles?"
"I still have the pretty letters Hawy. And the stickers."-Freddie said.
"Letters?"-Louis said questioning.-"Stickers?"
"Just small thanking ones."-Harry said smiling shyly.
"Harry he's 5, he can't read!"-Louis said facepalming.-"Oh wait..."
"Liam."-They said at the same time.
Louis did know how to react. He though Harry didn't care for them...Let alone sent letters to his son.
"I hope there is no issue about it."-Harry tried to speak.
"No it's completely fine...and you little gentleman, you kept secrets to me huh!"-Louis said and became ready to trickle him.
Freddie squealed and ran away to Rose giggling. Leaving Harry and Louis together alone again.
Louis sat on the couch and mentioned for Harry to sit too.-"You might say it looks like fun, but it's actually tiring. His legs are really fast and he's like a ball of unlimited energy that's power by the sun and apple juice."
"I think you're blessed either way."-Harry said distantly zooming out.
Louis noticed, and he knew what went on in his mind.-"It's hard being a single father trust me. It's always about teaching him everything about life."
