Lillian's POV

We had learnt so much in such a short period of time. I felt so much more reverence for my father. He was very well loved and respected in each realm. Matt had asked that we hold a meeting and discuss our plans before heading to the next realm. So there we were, seated in a huge office. Waiting for Jade. Matt addressed everyone saying, "as queen Luna, Jade has so many responsibilities but she prefers to do them herself as opposed to delegating. She doesn't think the other person will put in any extra effort." In walks Jade, apologizing for her tardiness. We all wave it off saying that it was fine.

Harper is the first one to start speaking, "we've heard a lot so far about the prophecy and we have an idea of what this is, but we don't know enough about the magnitude of what we're going up against. We don't know where to really go from here with the information we have gathered thus far". Jade interjected at this point saying, "I was thinking the very same thing, I feel as though we won't know until the 'evil' shows itself. We're like sitting ducks. We haven't the foggiest, whether it's an entity or supernatural or beast we're going up against and what's worse is that the prophecy said 'it' will have an army."

Alexei started off by saying, " we need to think outside the box and think extreme. We need to form more alliances, gather more gifted supernaturals and train. We need to be prepared for the worst scenario possible and hope we get less than that". "Alexei's right. We must forge forward and gather the best. See how we can turn a disadvantage into an advantage for almost every scenario using our gifts," Matt stated.

"I have some contacts in other realms and even in the human world, people who possess phenomenal gifts. We need to understand ancient dark magic to know if Alexei, Harper and Lillian can hold their own against it or preferably, to defeat it. I will talk to them as soon as I get back to my realm in a couple of days," said Nikolai.

" My father's letters and Grimoires may contain more information. We can all go through them, see if there's anything we can use. I know it's personal but I don't believe we have the luxury of time for me to go through them all by myself. That and the fact that it's not safe for anyone outside of this circle to look at them. Perhaps after we visit the Faerie realm and we each return to our respective homes we can plan to meet at a location for a couple of days to do just that? "

Harper then said," that's a great idea, I truly do believe your father's letters and Grimoires would reveal a lot of information seeing as he would have known you're the Phoenix I believe". Alexei hummed in appreciation at what Harper said, all the while running his fingers through her hair. Meanwhile, Jade, who was seated on Matt's lap, with his nose buried in her neck said that they agreed with that plan. Nikolai nodded thoughtfully at me and said, "okay, so to recap, we all head to the Fae realm, learn what we can, then we all head to our respective homes, rule our kingdoms, spend time with our mates and beloved, meet some days later at a venue to be discussed still, peruse the letters and Grimoires, then proceed to recruit gifted supernaturals to begin training ".

" Yes, sounds about right", I said. This signaled the end of the meeting and everyone decided on a nice meal around a bonfire , seeing as the sun had started going down. I simply could not wrap my mind around the stark contrasts and differences of each realm. It was a remarkable privilege to be able to journey between worlds this way.

For the rest of the evening we sat around the bonfire, eating and talking. I was acutely aware of the thick forest not too far off, the damp earth smelled rich, the slight musty air from rotting leaves flooded my nostrils and I felt at peace for a moment. I looked up to my beloved when I felt his piercing stare, "I feel strangely at peace right now, but I know it's a feeling that won't last very long", I said, while snuggling a bit closer to him. "I know, I feel the emotional battle rolling off you, just remember, we are in this together, never, not even for a moment, will I ever turn my back on you or leave you alone", he said, pulling me in closer.
