Chapter 2:Spelling Test

So about 15 minutes into the class the teacher says "it's time for the spelling test" at that point I just froze because I wasn't ready and I wasn't prepared.I think Evan noticed because he said "it's going to bed okay" and I look at him and give a small smile.As the teacher was going down the list I was next she says Sam spell the word preoccupied and I had to stand up and I just tried my best I said p r e o c u p i e d and then some people started laughing because it was wrong and the teacher said "it has another c in it" and all I said was "oh" and sat down.When the rest of the class finished the bell rung and it was time to go to our next class I somewhat left quickly because I couldn't face anyone because I got the word wrong but Evan said "hey wait up" I stopped and I sighed and said "yeah?" he looked at me and gave me a hug "it's okay you'll get it right next time" and I smiled and said "thanks" and since we didn't have the same class we went different ways.I went down the stairs to my math class and I didn't like that class that much either because that's the class where I got teased the most.I got there and took my seat at the back of the class the popular girl got there named Diane and her two little friends Bianca and Claire showed up and they came up to me and said "ohh look at the dyslexic kid what are you five?" I didn't say anything then she said "what cat got your tongue?" and then she laughed and then took her seat.The teacher said that we were going to be doing some linear equations and then he wrote some problems on the board that we were suppose to copy and while I was writing a piece of paper got thrown at me and I opened it and it said "Slow Sam" and when I looked up from my paper Diane and her friends were laughing I just sighed and continued writing.After a couple of minutes the teacher asked someone to answer the questions on the board and of course Diane raised her hand and said "I'll show them how it's done" and of course she got them all right she was smart for a popular girl.About 30 minutes later class was over and the teacher gave us homework and I just took it and left as I was leaving Diane said "hey slow sam how come your so slow move faster" and she pushed me and my books went flying everywhere people started laughing even Diane.I just picked up my books and went to the cafeteria since it was  lunch time.

In the cafeteria I just sat at the table with Evan he said "hey you okay?"and I just said "yeah just some stuff with Diane"he knew I had problems with her and he just said "what did she do this time" and I just told him "she just pushed me and laughed at me" and he just said "I'm so sorry that you have to deal with that" I didn't say anything we both got in the lunch line and got our food but when we were walking back to the table Diane came over and said "oh slow Sam you look thirsty" and she took some milk and poured it in my head in front of everyone and she said "what are you gonna do now slow Sam?" i just ran out of the cafeteria humiliated and all I heard was Evan yelling "wait" I just kept running and I ran into the only place I felt safe the library and I just cried.I cried for about five minutes until I felt someone sit beside me and I looked up and it was Evan he just hugged me and said "it's okay" we stayed there for a while until the next bell rung and it was time for gym and I didn't really like gym since I was a little insecure.
