Chapter 20:The Big News pt1.

My alarm went off around 7:30am and I got up and brushed my teeth and picked out my clothes which was just some ripped jeans and a shirt with red flowers on it and a hoodie and my black boots.I went to Amber's room and knocked on the door she said "come in" so I did.She was wearing black jeans and a white T shirt and yet she still looked beautiful.I stared at her and she just smiled and kissed my forehead and I blushed."so you ready to tell Evan?" she asked and I just said "yeah I guess I just don't know how he's going to react?" and she said "hey we're doing this together" and I gave her a hug "I love you" "I love you too"."Girls breakfast" her mom said and we both said "coming" we ran downstairs and see that she made pancakes and we sat down and ate them quietly Amber's mom broke the silence and said "Sam honey I'm going to get the adoption forms filled out today" and I just smiled and said "thank you for everything you've done for me" and then she said "your welcome".We finish eating and we head out to the car and get to school about 15 mins later we arrive and see Evan waiting for us and we get out and say goodbye to Amber's mom and go talk to Evan.

We walk over to Evan and he gives us both a hug and he says "how are you guys?" with a smile and me and Amber just look at each other and don't say anything.Sheesh I didn't know I was that boring he says jokingly and then I say "Evan I have something to tell you" and he looks at me all serious and says "okay I'm listening". Well I- before I could say anything the bell rang and I said "I'll tell you at lunch" and the three of us walked to English class.Ms.Arthur said "today we're doing a group assignment pick your groups" and of course me,Amber and Evan we in the same group and Diane,Bianca and Claire were in another and then Ms.Arthur gave each group some flash cards and said study these and quiz each other we will be having another spelling test.Diane smirked and said hope someone doesn't choke like last time and Amber just gave her a dirty look and said "ignore her" and I did.We study for the remainder of the class until the bell rings and it's lunch time and I start to feel nervous about the conversation but still continued walking though not paying attention walked into a wall and fell backwards.Amber and Evan come running back to me and help me up Amber asking "are you okay?" and I replied "yeah I'm good" and Diane walked by and laugh "wow blind as a bat too" she said laughing.She then walked off and then Evan asked "how did u walk into the wall?" and I said "oh just thinking about something" and Amber said "I think it's time u tell him" and I sighed and said "yeah".
