I sit in the gym and cry because of what Diane said and I think to myself it's not my fault I didn't have a coat. I heard someone come into the gym and sat next to me and when I looked up from crying I saw Amber. "Hey are you okay?" she said "I just wish Amber didn't say that it was so embarrassing" I cried. She looked at me crying and pulled me to her chest so tight. I felt safe like nothing could hurt me and after a few minutes we both got up and walked to class with her holding my hand. When we got there we take our seats and the bell rang and Evan looked at me concerned "are you alright?" and I just nodded my head. Diane threw a piece of paper at me and I opened it and it said "GOOD WILL GIRL" in big letters. Tears welled up in my eyes and Evan took the note from my hand and showed it to Amber and she looked really mad she marched over to Dianes desk took the lipstick she had and rubbed it all over her face and she screamed "AHHHH" and Amber went back to her desk. The teacher turned around and said "Diane stop messing around and pay attention"and she looked mad and pulled out her mirror to fix her makeup.

Ms.Arthur began to explain that she was going to be teaching us about poetry because it's a good way to express emotions in an artistic way. I loved poetry I would write it sometimes when I was feeling sad or excited not that they were any good. "Can somone tell me a poem about an emotion?" No one raised there hand "Sam how about you" I was really hoping she wasn't going to call on me. "Okay (kindness is the light in your dark and sometimes can light up a heart)" and everyone clapped for me well except Diane and her friends. "That was very good" and Evan and Amber both said "good job" and I just smiled and then Ms.Arthur said we had to come up with a poem and read it to the class and that got my heart pounding I couldn't handle being made fun of again especially by the whole class.
