Chapter 8:Me And Amber

After I went to my room I stayed there for a while and thinking about me and Amber and then I took a shower and put on my pajamas and went to bed,I couldn't sleep I was also thinking about how to tell Evan.I eventually fell asleep around 3am but then my alarm went off and I groaned when I turned it off I was tired but got up and got ready for school.I put on some back leggings and white shirt with a flower in the corner and some short brown boots and just put my hair in a ponytail.After I was done getting ready I went down stairs with a note from my mom on the table it said "Had to leave for work early see you later love you" I just signed and had some toast and went to catch the bus.The bus showed up and Evan was already on the bus I sat down next to him and he said "wow you look terrible" he said jokingly "gee thanks" I said in a sarcastic tone.The bus got to the school and everyone got off but when me and Evan got off the bus Amber was already there she said "oh hey" all I said was "hey" and then the bell rang and we all went to class.

When we got to English we all took our seats and then Diane and her gang showed up "oh hey it's slow Sam I'm surprised you made it today thought you were too dumb for that" I just ignored her but Amber didn't "hey what's your deal leave her alone or are you too stuck up to understand" Diane just said "how dare you i-" she couldn't finish her sentence because Mr.Arthur said take our seats."Thanks" I said to Amber "No problem she needs to be put in her place"me and Evan laughed while Mr.Arthur was telling us our word of the day and he said the word was apprehensive and he said he was going to choose someone to come up to the board and spell it and of course he said "Sam why don't you show us how it's done."As I was walking up to the board I heard Diane and he friends chuckle I just ignored them and went to the board and wrote apprehansive and the Diane laughed so hard and said "That is too funny that is wrong"I just blushed and went back to my seat.Then Mr.Arthur wrote it the correct way on the board apprehensive and then he said to write a sentence using the word and me,Evan and Amber started working when he said times up he said "who can give me a sentence using the word apprehensive?" .Amber raised her hand and he called on her she said "The girl was apprehensive while giving the speech" and he said good job.20 mins go by and it was the end of class Mr.Arthur said our homework was to write a short story using one of the characters who is apprehensive and then the bell rang and we went to lunch.While I was walking out of the class Diane pushed me aside and I fell to the floor and all she did was laugh and say "watch it slow Sam" and then walked away,Evan and Amber helped me up and we went to lunch.
